We have more single target attacks yes, but that allows us to focus on the luits and bosses more.
Tho with my scrapper I team more then I solo and when I'm doing AV's with my regular team, I am on cleanup duty. Killing the minnions arround the AV. And I do a fairly good job, if I may say so myself.
I can honestly say, any team will work (even with gimped builds), if the persons know how to play with each other.
Debuffing is cool, but you need to do damage too if it is to work .

As one who loves scrappers, I'd say you are a tat wrong, yes we can solo more easily then others. But in teams we are better, as a good defender can keep my health up while I focus on the one thing we do best, doing lots of damage fast. I had missions with a team where I didn't touch the heal buttons at all, infact even trough several missions in a row.

And I agree, blasters are the king of damage over scrappers. The blaster dishes it out even faster.

Good story blade, loved it.
An exelent way of begining a new hero.

Well I think some of us have the specs on the cossie.
But we wouldn't be powerlvl you, we would just sk you and play, that's what we usealy do with one of our own who needs a few lvls. You be amazed what a good team can do lvl wise

Thank you Blade, there is nothing stopping you from posting background/stories of your existing characters though .
I'm thinking of writing a story of the Ascended one day...
But that is just daydreaming now.

Alex Franclin heard a thud near his door, looking up from his workbench he frowned.
Carefully walking towards the door with one of his web grenades in his hands, he opened the door and saw a brown envelope laying there, curious he opens the thing, little did he knew the next few sentences would change his live.

A few months back…
“I can’t believe it”, he thought, “the ******* is using me again”. He was used to the routine now, but he never thought the internship at Crey’s, was this boring. He had jumped at the opportunity, despite his not so well record of B’s. They must have seen something in him. Granted though he was lazy in his schoolwork, he was always a kind of techwiz. What did you expect in a city of supers, where the best machines where made. He always had dreamed of a becoming a hero one day. His childhood was not remarkable and all through his high school years, his teachers tried to prompt him into performing better, He rather spent his days surfing on Talos beach and skating in Atlas. All that changed when he came to PU. He was not a remarkable student, but still he proved to be a good student. He couldn’t believe his luck when Crey Industries selected him for an internship. He had heard the stories, but never believed them much. “Ah well, at least I get to see that file room now”, walking down the high tech hallway he passed numerous labs with blinded windows, he was curious, but he was told never to stop walking towards his designated areas. The file room was not far, he stepped in and he greeted the clerk. “I want to request file 349-alpha please”, he said. The clerk nodded and typed in something. The clerks desk phone began to ring. He answered it, exchanged a few words and said to Alex, “I’m sorry sir, I have to deliver something quick, would you mind waiting for a few minutes” . Alex sighed, “No not at all, sir”. The clerk walked out of the room fast with some files.
Alex waited for a few seconds, then realized he was in the file room alone, a mischievous smile broke on his face and he walked, towards some cabinets, he began to rummage through some of them, seeing some weird things, disturbing things. Then his eye fell on a older file, “Volcanic suit prototype alpha”. His eyes went wide, he opened the file and saw some blue prints. “Hmmm, I can make this”, He quickly stuffed the blue prints under his jacket and walked back to the desk. The clerk came back after a while and gave him the requested file, He walked out and he wondered how to get these blue prints out of the building. Luck was with him that day, as the security forces, where called away from the front to respond to some thread. He flashed his employee bagde and he was waved through. He couldn’t believe it. On his way to his dorm, he began to dream.

A month later…
He looked up from his work. “Yes! Finaly completed!” He looked admiring the suit he made in the basement of his dorm. He had studied the blue prints and even improved some off it.it wasn’t advanced yet, but considering it was made of “scrap metal” as you might call it, it was pretty good. He decided to take it on a test run. He soon was running in the streets, legs pumping underneath him, his hearth pounding. His suit worked perfectly. This was worth all the nights he forgotten to sleep. He went to a warehouse practicing his new “powers”. The lighting shooting out of his hands was remarkable destructive and a surge of power went through him. After a hour of testing, he decided to run back to his dorm, to improve some more. When he heard a scream, he turned around and saw a lady being mugged by some Hellions, without a thought, he blasted them down with his lighting. The lady walked up to him and thanked him thoroughly, “What’s your name, hero?” Startled, he thought quickly, remembering his former love for extreme sports, “Extrisity, ma’am”. “Well Extrisity, I’m telling all my friends about you, thank you.” The lady gave him her phone number and ran off. The next day he registered his hero name in city hall. And continued to work on his suit to perfect it even more.

Yes, it was a great TF and we should do it again.

Power Puncher was just asking about the hunters yesterday, he wanted to run more often too, I'd guess this is an great opportunity. I would love to run the Hunters again.

I finished the main quest on fable so I would be appearing more. hehe.

I also written a bio of that RPG Blaster I am making.
I posted it on the miltia (I don't like that name, but a well) thread, I hope you read it too and comment .
It's not the greatest story but I think it's not bad.
