Wow, I didn't even have a chance to answer...
And thanks! -
I haven't been on these boards in a dog's age, but I'm back. I've done commission work for several members of these boards in the past and I'm open for more now. I specialize in digitally-colored character pinups.
Here is some work I've done for others:

And I'd be more than happy to do similar work for you. PM me for more information. Thanks in advance! -

Welcome back to CoH man. ONe thing you may not be aware of though is the general forum policy of "not talking about commissions". I have no idea of the fate of this thread... but just keep it in mind k.

Same here. I've done this before and I've never had a problem. This is how I got started doing commissions. -
Thanks for the compliments!

After a long absence (been real busy) I'm back and open for commissions. Full color digital images of your characters is my specialty. Some examples of my work:

I ink digitally in Photoshop. I use the program's pen tool to create smooth paths over my pencil lines and stroke them with crisp black linework. Usually turns out great and it's a lot more user friendly than inking by hand. Just as fast too, at least for me.

I'm relatively new to tanking (just hit 30 with my one and only tank on all the game), and I don't know herding, but from what I see it's not that much more efficient than just taking out one mob at a time. With my tank I jump in and take the alpha, then keep taunting to keep them focused on me while running invincible. 99% of the time, there are no faceplants and I get constant praise for being a good tank. I'm not discounting the value of herding...I've seen it in action and it has its moments of being highly effective, but it doesn't seem anymore effective than just jumping in and killing as you go, just as Jitter said.

Nice guide. I run a kin/rad defender (level 41 currently) and I just started her evil clone in CoV, a rad/kin corruptor, so I'm pretty familiar with the powers, but I find it interesting to see how opinions differ. For example, I skipped Electron Haze and Neutron Bomb on my defender because the slow animations made them less useful than expected, and I have and frequently use Proton Volley not just as a pull but as a regular in-fight attack (and it's not even slotted for interrupt reduction). Of course, that's on my defender. I may think differently with my corruptor since she gets the blasts earlier than the kinetics' powers. It really is a darn shame that defenders are forced to take Neutrino Bolt. I also don't have stamina on my defender, but since corruptors have to wait all the way until level 35 to get Transference, that may change too.
I was wowed when I first discovered the "Trifecta" just as you apparently were. On teams I like to throw in Irradiate just after FS just in case my end is better spent on using Transfusion than draining it with my nuke.
Anyway, again, great guide. Opinions vary, but you definitely seem to know what you're talking about, which is what matters most. -
I used to use Flash Arrow all the time on my TA/Ar defender. I never had the problem of drawing aggro that's so often mentioned in this thread. She's level 30 now, and I respec'd out of Flash Arrow just to see what Entangling was like because Flash wasn't doing anything special for me...but it wasn't causing any problems either.
I'm not saying anyone's wrong, I just find it odd that people are having the insta-face plant issue that's supposedly caused by Flash Arrow. It's been my experience that it's perfectly safe to fire the arrow into an un-aggroed mob (sometimes repeatedly) while the rest of the team gets ready to attack. It's worked for me solo too. Flash has never gotten me killed. -
I'm new to CoV and masterminds, my Thug/Poison is currently lv 13, but I find that Thugs happen to be very easily killed. I like to minimize the chance of them dying in battle by helping them out with something other than Brawl and the end hogging, barely-healing Alkaloid. (I'm sure things get better in higher levels.) The best way to mitigate damage is to kill mobs fast. And I can't tell you how cool it feels to stand there with my three guys (punks and enforcer) all opening fire on the mobs at the same time, it's like something out of Desperado or Face/Off. I can't wait until the opportunity to get Empty Clips.

Yeah I wanted to make Dualmask my forum name here but I can't. It's already being used for something else...I don't like what I have but it's less boring than "JPrice".
And hey, TA--that is the best avatar I've seen in a while! -
Not quite empty yet, Kat.
But who says I can only work on one drawing at a time?
-
My plate is nearly empty which means I'm open for commissions again. I've done work for Rowr, Thor's Assassin and others, and I'd like to do some work for YOU.
PM me for rates, click the link in my signature for my online art gallery to check out my work.
Also, if interested I can supply you with objects featuring your requested CoX characters. Interested in a mousepad featuring your invul tank? A clock with the face of your high powered energy blaster? Ask me how. -
I would, but I prefer to draw a woman if it's just for fun or an art trade.

I have a gallery full of my personal stuff as well as the few commissions I've done for members of this board here: http://dualmask.deviantart.com/gallery/
