  1. Good evening. It has come to my attention that many villain groups seek to overthrow the current regime and replace it with a new one of their own making. There are two main calls to arms that I have heard.

The first is that like-minded villains need to stick together. The basic idea is that the world would is a dangerous and hostile place, so we must band together for protection. "Heroes" would jump at the chance to humiliate us just to put themselves in the spotlight, and the residents of the Rogue Isles can be trusted only to be untrustworthy.

I think this is a fine idea. However, I don't feel that simply existing is enough of a goal. Others seem to think the same thing - the other popular theme is a certain government or oganization is the primary cause of the suffering of the people. I must disagree on this point - the main cause of human suffering is humanity itself. Something must be done to address the root of the problem, and obviously humanity as a whole can not be trusted to purge itself.

Discrimination, domestic abuse, power mongering, exploitation, torture, genocide... these are the earliest and most enduring of humanity's inventions. As time progresses, faces change but the sins remain the same. Something must be done, and as those gifted with abilities beyond those of most, it is our duty to end the cycle of attrocities humans commit against themselves. Unfortunately, few choices that would be considered "humane" have been shown to have any effect at all. Desperate measures must be taken.

If you agree that humanity itself has proven to be a failure, please contact The Society of Fenris. We have a place for you.

((This is a new super group that encourages roleplaying... and of course, plenty of out-of-character fun at times. Due to the rather radical views of the Society of Fenris, the primary character types that it seeks to recruit are nonhumans (Nature spirits, robots, demons, etc.) as well as humans who, for whatever reason, do not like the way humanity has turned out.

If you are interested in joining, my handle is @Incarnations. Nothing other than the willingness to roleplay a member of the Society of Fenris, maturity, and a sense of humor are required.))
