Since the various "parts" of the platypus resemble other animals so strongly (duck bill, etc), I think we may be able to put one together even if there is no specific platypus design.

I'm sure that as time goes on and more packs are added, we'll see a lot of interesting blending of genres. Magic/Steampunk, Mutant/Animal, Mad Scientist/Steampunk/Animal, etc., etc., etc. We are limited only by our creativity!

Gosh, you sure know how to ask nicely.

Well, let's begin with a Steampunk Cat Girl.

Oh! Yes, that was Squirrel Girl drawn in Power Girl's Costume.

It's still Squirrel Girl, she's just got a different costume on in that concept piece.

Sorry for not getting what you meant, I'm only half-awake.

  9. Here is a colored piece, showing how Squirrel Girl's looks continued to evolve.

You can click on the image to show a very large version, if you like.

No, it really is. While the original Squirrel Girl was not very pretty (indeed, maybe "goofy-looking" is a kind term) courtesy of artist Steve Ditko, her surging popularity in the reader fan base led to not only her later re-appearance in NYC but a big makeover in terms of looks, as can be seen below in the inked pages of "I Am An Avenger #1" by Artist Tom Fowler:

  11. Thus far, Squirrel Girl has beaten:
    1. Doctor Doom
    2. Mandarin
    3. Giganto
    4. MODOK
    5. Thanos
    6. Terrax
    7. Bug-Eyed Voice
    8. Bi-Beast
    9. Deadpool
    10. Pluto
    11. Fin Fang Foom
    12. Baron Mordo
    13. Korvac
    14. Ego the Living Planet
She is Marvel's most powerful heroine.
  12. Can't stop... more Squirrel Girl!

  13. More Squirrel Girl

    Just because.
  14. The piece with the two Cat girls is good, GG. Do you do them with Poser or full-out Maya / 3DS Max?

    Oh, wait... that's a rabbit.

  18. Gosh, that sports mascot style costume with the purple hair looks terribly stuffy, heavy and hot to wear.

That rhymed! I'm a poet, and I didn't even know it!
  19. I agree, I think we'll have actual animal head and limb replacements. But if there are costume pieces, I think slim costume parts like the Neko-mimi is wearing in my first post are more likely than the oversized, sports-mascot style costume shown in the latter image.
  20. The Internets are made of Cat girls, NYA NYA!
Don't you love the Internets? NYA NYA!
    (repeat)

I should have made it more clear that I meant in-game, I didn't notice any denigration.

I'm sure people here in the Forums have complained, as complaints about anything complainable about (and beyond) seem to form a large part of the content here.

  23. The Pack will very likely have some nicely done animal heads, paws, tails, feet, etc. plus a few transformation animations.

Given the number of sexy cat-girls that are currently strutting around in game (and no one complaining about them that I've noticed), I'm not sure why anyone would think an Animal Pack would make any significant difference.

Let's just wait and enjoy it for what it is.

  24. Let's not worry about it, but just enjoy the arrival of another fun Pack!
