I'm just curious to see the cards, and how they will look.
Think any good player characters will make it in?

Seeing as how AEG is running the game, I'd say most assuredly you will see player characters. Probably the coolest thing about AEG's CCGs is that they have a strong sense of community. In L5R espcially, most of the personality cards are based around players of the game. Given that NC Soft has already a well established history of including player characters in the comic book, combined with AEGs history of doing similar things in their CCGs, I see no reason why it would not carry over to the CoH CCG. -

Excellent choice, though. Any company that has created such a, well creative organized play system and spawned such loyal legions of fans (Drunken Master L5R, anyone?) is a good home for a CoH CCG.

VA, eh? Hmmm, have you attended one of Columbus's Drunken Master tournaments? -

Holy moly, I dont know where I got my information. I thought I got it from l5r.com but I just checked again and it is not there. I must be losing my mind, heh. Disregard the foolish things I said...
Though, they are ramping up the power of the cards quite a bit. That much is for certain.

I went to the CoH boards and an L5R discussion broke out!? Awfully ironic for me, seeing as how one of the reasons I left L5R was to play more CoH.
For the L5R fans following this thread, I wouldn't sweat the ramp up of power cards too much. Diamond is comming to a close, and Lotus is becomming the main focus. Things have always gotten crazy at the end of an edition's life cycle. The circle of life continues. . . .
I had heard Eric had become affiliated officially with L5R. I had no idea it was as the brand manager. That's big news, as big as the man himself!Maybe now the game will recieve some actual prize support.

Although I have yet to be adversely affected by the increase in boss difficulty, I think this is an excellent plan.
If you want it harder, crank up the difficulty level.
My only suggestion would be that when this plan starts to take shape and go live, that you communicate it to all players- possibly via a newsletter. Casual players, who are most affected by these changes, may not frequent the boards as often and may be unaware of the plan.
