Ive got a inv/ tank and i never take resist energys or elements, this will allow you to take 2 powers from the epic pools which in my opinion are better than the extra 10% def especialy if you take tough and weave.
I would try and fit in conserve energy and prehaps foccussd acc.
Aid self is a great power for a tank but i would recommend taking that or fighting pool not both, with IOsets it is possible to be perma dull pained so it becomes overkill.

i must say freezing rain is a great power, it does tend to spread nicly hered groups if not used with snowstorm though, the main use of frezzing rain is that it lowers the defense of any enemys attacked get it slotted with def debufs and recharges asap with our offender setup it will stack nicly wiyth the other debuffs and your own snow storm to make a slow, - recharge, lower defense grp for us to launch our AoEs at, if you wasnt to see the stormy powers in action give me a shout and i can show you them all so you can decide what works for you my current build has everything but thunderclap and gale

ive read on the forums power build up dosnt work that well with Kinetics thats why im going to avoid it.

Just done some jigging on my build taken out ball lightning even with all the assualts running its rubbish tbh, also took out aim..what do you think>?
Aiming for an end sucker with short circuit, transference and power sink?

Yeh we definatly need a plan playing on invincable with a team of lvl 14 squishys dosnt help...we have to dispose of the threat of the bosses alpha and when you have 3 or 4 of them in a spawn it just dosnt work.
I think setting the diff down to unyeilding or rugged and actually waiting for debuffing before the mad 8 scrappender charges we were doing in that last mission and we will be ok. you can see the idea of the super team has great potential, if we are going to play as a team we need to play as a team rather than 8 individuals we have enough buffs/debuffs/heals and firepower to take down anything easily its just not going to be as easy as we all thought at this low lvl...which tbh i think is a good thing if theres never any chance of dying i might aswell let my missus take over the keyboard while i go and make dinner
As for manuvers i can fit it in my build if we decide to go that way, i say lets get to the first respec at 24 then make a group decision on builds, as i said before i have no problem with making a gimped build that will only work with this team and i know others have said the same.
