I don't think i've ever had the pleasure of grouping with your brother, though I may have and not realized it, but if he's anything like you I know that he is a wonderful person.

I know that well wishes and sympathies are sometimes small and insignificant solace. And in times like this that test our abilities to cope with things we don't like to think about or contemplate, like the injury your brother has survived, we often have to confront the very real fact of our own mortality. Thankfully, it appears that you've all been given a second chance.

But please for his sake and your family's, though I know it is difficult and easier said than done, concentrate on the fact that he has survived. I know that his condition is still uncertain, but focus on the fact that you can still tell him that you love him and see him smile back at you. Treasure that and be thankful that he is young and strong, and I am sure he will come through this.

Nothing but Empathy for him, and you and your family. Best wishes.

Costume contests are always fun. Especially ones like this with big rewards that are sure to draw plenty of people.

Is there any theme for this costume contest, or will there be categories, or is it an anything goes?

Also, will you be the only judge, or will there be a panel, you know, like they have in boxing... to promote shall we say, impartiality?

Sign me up. I've never done this TF either, but I'm certainly game to try it. I'll bring Underrated again.

I definitely geared the arc more toward team play, but if you solo-d it even most of the way, I'm impressed. I really wanted to make an arc that was challenging so that afterwards you actually felt like it was worth it. The downside of that of course is the difficulty in solo play, which I realized ahead of time is probably going to be detrimental to the arcs overall exposure, but I wasn't willing to compromise challenge for ease of access.

*shrug*

I put a lot of extra work into the little things like souvenirs and mission clues. I wanted to give people an impression of the overall story of CoV as maybe told by someone who might have been a bit bitter at having been used by Recluse, and having realized what the real purpose behind Project Destiny was. I've always liked the story of CoV so much more than CoH, but I do tend to like darker, and grittier realism in my comic themed stories.

Just out of curiosity, what would(did) you rate it out of 5 stars?

Hey folks. Just wanted to get some feedback from some Justice veterans on an AE story arc. The arc has some Justice specific comedy elements that should bring back some fond memories for those that were on the server just after City of Villains launched. Especially if you ever found yourself in Siren's Call after a Hami raid back in the day - like issue 6-12 back in the day!

Hola.

I just wanted to advertise a bit for the new AE story arc I just created about my main character Chiropteran. Chiropteran was the very first character I created in City of Villains on November 3rd 2005 when CoV launched. he has been my main character, and badge toon on red side. I also came up with a fairly interesting biography for him, and as I've gotten many accolades and kudos from Costume contests and background contests, i figured that I should create a story arc about his origins.

This story arc introduces you to The Chiropteran, and gives you a bit of a glimpse into his history, but leaves some larger questions in its wake that I hope to answer with a sequel arc if the reception for this one passes muster. There are also some comedy elements in the final mission. If you happen to be on the Justice server, these comedy elements may bring back some old, and hopefully humorous memories.

I would love feedback for this arc, and would like to hear your opinions, as well as constructive criticisms. This is also my first experience creating a story arc, or missions in the AE, and hopefully I have given it enough play-through to have ironed out all the small bugs.

Please give it whirl and let me know what you think/rate accordingly.

Just wanted to say thanks to MissInformed for organizing saturday's matinee, and let her know how much everyone appreciates her taking over and filling in for dark bridger.

We had a great time, the team got 2 purple drops, and we finished in about an hour even taking our time and killing mobs along the way for those that needed the xp or shards. I myself ended up with 16 shards out of the deal which let me go from the common alpha slot to the rare one on my Ice/kin. yay!

I figured I would put up a post here as a shot in the dark to see if anyone I knew is still playing.

Katfood, MissInformed, Lucas, Bionic Flea, Anyone from Nightmare Squad, Toona, Con et al (and his 8 billion toons named Con-(instert witty word here), hmmm.... yeah it's been SOOOO long...

I hath returned to this game mainly for nostalgia and to check out Going Rogue (Not the Sarah Palin book, I assure you).

you'll prolly see me in game on various toons. I'd post names here if i actually remembered them ha! If you team with me the first week or so you have my pre-apology from being completely rusty and noobish.
