I has another question... this time regarding the deadlines.

For the Early Bird point it's July 15th and the regular deadline is July 26th.
Now there are two pieces (which in the end belong together) to enter. One written part and one art part.
Is the deadline for the EB-point for the art part aswell as the written part?
Or is it for the art part only? And can the desciption of a possible trailer be entered till the regular deadline?
This ís an Art battle afterall .

Bubba, a question for you... (or to those who know the answer) as I'm not quite sure on how this theme is intended exactly....Which option (or options) is it?
option 1: A poster about a movie that could play in the CoH cinema's as wel as in the "real world" as if both worlds would excist side by side.
option 2: A poster about a movie that would play only in the CoH cinema's.
option 3: A poster about a movie about City of Heroes or something related, that could be shown in the cinema's the players can go to.
option 4: Whatever we want...as long as there's a CoH factor in it.
option 5: you got it all wrong... it's like this; [enter explanation here]

There's a woman stealing art (from DevArt and other artsites) and publishing it without approval... or even contacting the artist for it.
She also doesn't put up credit for any art (unless it's accidently because the artist signed it with his/her name).
But she's offering it freely to anyone who will have it in a thing she calls a book.

It has plagiarism written all over it.
I'm just gonna put up a linky to my Dev Art Journal about it, so people can take a look at the book and see if their art has been stolen aswell and perhaps respond and maybe do stuff if they wish.

Well you seem to have a way of sneaking into pictures and art... it's a skill, I know. And you manage it very well indeed!
I'm not sure why the lynx is growling at you actually... but if it's a comfort.. I think he's not growling.. he just forgot to close his mouth...again... he's odd that way.

So it's been a while since we were here , but I just "discovered" the way of furs and thought I'd share .

Perhaps some of you already noticed...but I've been practising furdrawing in PSP9.
Though PSP or PS it doesn't really matter . The outcome is the same mostly anyway.

Here's my practise result (with extra smudging for my personal interest) (perhaps one can find some logic in it):

And I'll put in a great tutorial that I used (though there are more references when you click my practise image ).



There's also a hair / fur brush available now for my fellow PSP users. <- click it!

I wasn't really aiming for satin...but then again... that particular part of the story hasn't been written yet...so I can always adjust *giggles*.

What did I do this time? Intensive drawing... I suppose my Muse had a great vacation as it's all inspired now!
Now I'm working with my right index and middle finger... it's an odd way to hold a pen I tell you, but it works better than my left hand *giggles*.

Perhaps I should see the doctor again... I now have a different one...so maybe he knows what's going on with my thumb...as my former doc told me it just needed rest... *rolls eyes*.

In the June F-Art Battle Thread I stated that I lost my colouring style.
I kind of ended up using a style that's not my usual style, like my entry for June for example... (and even earlier submissions)... I got stuck in it...

Even though CR found my muse, I had to train it all over again...
And now.... *cheers happily again* I have refound my style!! Once I got started... my muse remembered and learned quickly.
Yes... it's a very slow style.... but it's mine!

Working on a project atm that I'm quite fond of sofar. It's for a book I'm writing. Well inspired on it anyway. Can't give you previews atm as it might jinx my muse
