Anyone got a decent pve build for MA/Regen? I'm thinking of making one but I don't know where to start as far as power selection goes.

I have decided that I want to start a hero for the purposes of taking him over to the dark side once rogue hits. I've gone with claws simply cause its cool and new to me but I do't know what secondary to pick.

What do you guys think is the best overall secondary for claws? meaning both team pve, solo, and a bit pvp mixed in also. And if you guys could also point me in the direction of a guide for it that would be awesome.

So a spent a while playing around with suckerpunch's online planner and I think that I've come out with a pretty good power selection.
Problem is I still don't really know what IO's to use. Do I go for as much +damage that I can get? or do I mix damage accuracy and recharge? Do I want to slow for defense at all? I don't know how much pvp zones suppress your def or what I would need to not get wasted instantly...

Still any help would be great, but I figured I might as well post what I had so far as a jump off point. Here it is.

Hey there.

So I have this stalker. He is level 50 and I wanna start getting him into some pvp. Now since he was made originally for thematic reasons, I have the power sets spines and dark armor.

From what I hear/read, spines is pretty good for pvp. But seeing as I have not read anything on dark, I assume it is horrible.

So regardless of the fact that my power sets may be less then optimal, How should I build him? I can probably spend a good amount on his IO's, but I would obviously rather spend as little as possible. Under 100 mil if I could. But, the random recipe drops willing, I would be happy to spend upto 600 or 700 mil.

All I know about pvp is that I should get superspeed, and maybe teleport foe but other then that, I have no idea where to start. I also am on a mac, so I can't even use mid's to explore all my options.

So hop to it forumites! Help me plaster some heroes!

So, I know that I should of rerolled for SS/WP but this guy was so much fun I just couldent do it. Now that I'm 50, I wanna start getting into some zone and eventually arena pvp with him but I have no idea where to start.

So, if you guys had to make an axe/wp brute, how would you build him?
I know very little about pvp so any suggestions would be great!

Heya, so I'm fairly new to the CoX games and I've made my self a mastermind and gone mercs/pain. I really like the character I got and I'm now level 29 but I have no idea how to build him.

I see other MM's ripping stuff up in missions but my mercs just seem meh and I don't really know how to go about improving them.

I looked around for guides, and while there are a few merc guides and a few pain ones there are none for both and all the different guides say very different things.

I just don't wanna spend all this work on the guy to find that I totally suck and should of rerolled ages ago.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I know that there must be some of you out there wise enough to give me some tips about how to go about improving this guy!

So this is not only my first post but it is a post about my first character whom just happends to be a spine/dark stalker. I just wanna say I'm glad I found this. I managed to get my guy to 35 and decided to look into some guides on the forums only to find plenty of hate on dark armor and not much pro spine posts.

Seeing this has revitalized my confidence in my character. Atleast now I know I'm not an absolute idiot for rolling him!
