Steam jump looks cool, i just really think there should be some consideration for all those huge and strength-type characters. Basically most tanks and almost every brute you see running around.

I really think there needs to be a run power just like beast run or ninja run, but themed for huge size characters. I mean obviously beast run is only for anamalistic characters because you are running on all fours, and ninja run is great for fast athletic characters, but it looks really silly to have your 8 foot huge sized toon flipping and spinning through the air. almost as silly as it look having him run on his face.
Dont get me wrong i LOVE ninja run and beast run they are AMAZING. I just wish there was a similarly themed run power for huge sized characters... i mean come on they are one of the THREE choices when making a character (male, female, huge) this is no small population of the game.
My suggestions: Huge characters don't take more steps faster (like a ninja) they take larger steps that, through strength, propel them great distances at awesome speed. In other words, have them go just as fast/high as ninja and beast run, but the animation is taking large strides instead of lots of tiny steps. Also, there should be an appropriate booming noise every time their foot hits the floor. Bonus points if there is a small animation every time they land from a jump where the ground appears to crack from the force of thier landing (after all, they are very heavy)
I really think this is a HUGE part of the game (no pun intended) and should be considered seriously. After all, how many animal characters do we really see in CoH/CoV? and they have thier own run power. So should huge sized (or similarly themed strength-based) toons. call it whatever you like. -
hey, i was just wondering what the deal was with War Witch in Pocket D...
On the map War Witch is listed as a Trainer (and the only Trainer) in Pocket D. However, when i try and talk to her with a villain character she says "I mistrust your motives, $target, and mistrust you. Leave me be"
After talking with a "Senior Customer Support Representative" he said:
Hello,
War Witch currently only acts as a trainer for Hero characters. This is currently part of the intended design.
that doesn't seem very fair... to have only a hero trainer in a clearly
mixed zone... which was intended in its design.. is there any process in the
works of making War Witch able to train both heroes in villains, or even
better, giving villains their own trainer in Pocket D? I mean, as a mixed
zone, it only makes sense for balance and fairness of the game...
if I'm in there on a mixed team with heroes and villains doin some snaptooth missions with my friends (which i was) what kind of sense does it make that they can train up whenever they want, but i have to leave the zone (thereby quitting the team), go train someplace, come back, rejoin the team again... I'm sorry, but it just doesnt make sense to me. Cimeroa has a mixed trainer. So does RWZ if I'm not mistaken.
