Quote:Oops about Archery....forgot it's secondary was acc.
But PB is "suppose" to affect these but I forget sometimes that nothing works like it's "suppose" to pvp.
Those things have never been affected. The only real pvp change to pb is that it no longer effects kb, and if they hadn't changed that kb would be even more powerful than it is currently. -

Quote:Also, what you quoted me on was just me answering his question. I think it's funny how nobody would tell him and instead just hand him their opinion of dueling in a pvp zone or laugh at him. Life has taught me that the jerks are always wrong. I only came here to help a guy with a question.
I gave the best advice in the thread with the first reply in the thread. And mine is fact not opinion. Made up rules and codes of honor in a video game mean about as much as the tooth fairy. The only rule in pvp zones is the one you get while the timer is going off, prepare to be attacked by other players. Adding anything else is just made up stuff in your head that I could give a **** less about. -
Quote:Well, this is just a basic question that I personally can't check for myself.
How hard would DR hit 52.6% MD/62.6% RD?
(There's no AoE defense, nope. Why...? well... who gives a F about AoE damage in PvP these day xP)
Will it at least be like 30%ish? =/
Varies by at. I remember squishies cap around 20, can't remember the others atm -
Archery's secondary effect is range and +acc built into its attacks. Even with that non of the things you listed are effected by pb. In pvp now the only time pb is really useful is if you are doing alot of arena with dr off against high defense or have an aid self pff build.

If you look at the link mids sends you to you can extract the real link out of it. It because they changed from ubb to vbullet forums.

Watching all the people get angsty in freedom ac today because of quotes from this thread was pretty epic.

Quote:You can't stop dueling in PVP zones. You can try yes, infact you are. But the zones are big, and there are hidden places. And why are these police officers enforcing rules that do not exist. I've yet to read that dueling in a PVP zone is against the rules or "law" as you may put it. Anything goes in a PVP zone, there are next to no rules. Dueling doesn't add rules, it adds an agreement to see who is better in a 1v1. Next thing u know your going to break into people missions and help them kill the AV they are trying to solo, haha.
We are stopping people from enforcing fake rules. Just because you can't stop is no reason to stand for it. If you con orange you are attackable. I don't care what you and your buddies agreed to. Don't like it, gtfo the zone.
And just so you know there are no hidden spots. -

Quote:Hibernate is allowed in duels. Anything basically is but; temp powers, inspirations or leaving the duel area.
Are you Zen_Shadow? Even if you aren't could you please refrain from repping Jusitce. It has had a hard enough time over the years with its pvp image without another fightclub champ to help wreck it. -
Quote:Inspirations are understandable, i don't want a duel to last 2 hours because a tank has greens. And yea, asking for one first.
Dueling a tank and thinking it shouldn't take forever is kinda lulzy. Basically if you are there to test a build go pve. If you want to actually pvp stop using retarded rules and get out there and get dirty. -

duel in a PvP zone?
[/ QUOTE ]
Those things, they do not exist. Once you start adding rules to a rule less area it becomes increasingly easy to say the other side/person only won because (insert whiny reason here). The point I am making, do everything you can to win at all times. If they didn't like what you did, [censored] em. -
[ QUOTE ]
but take into consideration that these are the exact type of complaints the dev's got which helped them give us what has become PvP today
[/ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ]
you and others have obviously mistaken what i said in my first post here and assumed i meant the PvP'ers being the ones that caused the changes.
[/ QUOTE ]
lolwut -
The first time this thing bugged it was adding to the foes tohit instead of debuffing it.
-
[ QUOTE ]
nope never will. expect to see me post more often now that i have obviously ruffled your feathers. after all thats part of PvP, right?
[/ QUOTE ]
It would help if you were good. -
Thought you were leaving.
Edit: also fightclub has jack [censored] to do with learning how to pvp in a team environment. You really are probably better off just leaving. -
[ QUOTE ]
you know i was about to leave a 1/2 thread page long answer, but your 2 yr old attitudes aren't worth it. enjoy having no one new to play with in the zones while on my server we keep adding new people to play with. later.
[/ QUOTE ]
Spoken like someone with the attitude of a 2 year old. gl hf what ever server you are on. I feel bad most of us are killing pvp on freedom, it will be so dead soon enough because of our poor attitudes. And to think we could have been saved by you. -
Almost all the people I know who are against fightclub aren't really against it in and of itself. Its more against the all cap typing mouth breathing retards that rp how honorable are and how they follow their made up codes. I honestly don't know anyone who I team with on a regular basis or have on my global friends list who would berate someone being nice and looking for help. By the same token there isn't alot lot of them I would want to fire up at if a totally clueless dbag who thinks the world should revolve around them.
I am glad you think the coddling everyone idea will foster a new bright tomorrow, sadly you are horribly mistaken. They same idiots I know who were like that when pvp came out are still like that. You can't fix stupid. And lol at thinking pvpers attitudes had any bearing on the changes. All the people who post down in this section did was come with great ideas with detailed info on how to improve pvp. Guess what they got for all that hard work.
And a last little add on. Arena kiosk aren't so inherently hard to use that it should justify a whole zone that is intended for open pvp to have to stand around and check who they attack. If you don't want to be interrupted, haul your numskull [censored] to the arena or just [censored] and fight. -
[ QUOTE ]
and did anyone stop to think that maybe these are new players trying it out to see what it is about? i mean it is easier to just go to a zone then figure out the arena kiosk. and if they are new players, which is what the dev's wanted, you have just chased them out, which is what the dev's didn't want. good job keeping the PvP zones low population.
[/ QUOTE ]
Maybe you should go there and hold their hands, and make them feel all better about the big bad people touching them. Or maybe, just maybe we all pretty much know who is who and enjoy thumping on the 'respec the station' crowd. After you whack em in the head a few times the zone turns into a, wait for it, pvp zone. -
[ QUOTE ]
Does this guy still play
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes. -

If the thread in my sig I want stickied doesn't make the trip I promise there will be hell to pay -
Fun should be the whole point. Once it becomes tedious more and more teams will drop, and in the end it will all be for naught. I would consider going 2 matches per week minimum to lessen how long this will end up being. Long drawn out stuff like this is why I seldom ever did more than one off tourneys, duels or being a zonetard. If I wanted to 'work' at it I would want to get paid
