Inks by Elton Dias. Pencils by Rafael Lanhellas.

Quote:Thanks. That was the trickiest part to get the story clear as I was working with artists where English was a second language. That and the entire Project is part of my academic submission for credit towards a Diploma in Creative Writing. You can find the five page outline here. The sequentials are great, the story is very clear! And this last piece is awesome too.
Good luck, fello Nanoer!
Elton Dias is currently working on the inks and Danielle Alexis will be coloring.
I've taken a break from my Comrade Hero Project, I finished getting the Application and submission material off to Creative New Zealand, and after the New Year will be applying to WorkBridge, Work and Income and New Zealand on Air for funding. Nothing is guaranteed of course, but it will be interesting to see how far I can run with the idea.

Quote:Thanks very much. At least the major work (the Manuscript) is almost completed after 2 years. The funding component will take place over about a year with the various Government applications....have always been a fan of the work you get done CH and this layout piece(s) is awsome!~
In the meantime I'm given NaNo (novel in a month) a crack this year. -
Hope you had a most excellent Birthday!

Got my Application away to Creative New Zealand last Thursday for Quick Response Arts Grants and met with an Advisor from the Maori Business Facilitation Unit. Will be applying for further assistance and funding from Government Agencies such as WorkBridge, Work and Income, and New Zealand on Air.
Anyways... Last month I commissioned Rafael Lanhellas to produce a Five Page Sampler of Sequential Pages for Funding Application Purposes/Promotion/Proposals. Received the finished pencils today.

Quote:That's fantastic. Nine Lives - short and sweet.I got a surprise yesterday when I got a link to this by http://war-patriot.deviantart.com/

(you better save your pennies up and get from Sequential Pages done!) -
Quote:Really good point. Took me a while to actually realize just how effective the two simple lines were. Very clever indeed. That background is so clever, just two straight lines, but it seems to place them in an entire scene. I'm seeing them emerging from a backstreet alley or some such, great stuff. Look forward to the colour
Thanks. I'd hug you but the last guys who tried that ended up with multiple puncture wounds. -
Quote:Hope to be available. Missed this round.Agreed on the WIlly Nilly.
We are going to do the Cathedral of Pain (COP) again on Thursday (28 Oct) at 8 CST. Please meet at RWZ, we will enter the base from there. If you don't have them, I would HIGHLY recommend getting Shivans. If we all have them that would be 24 Shivans on the AV, and this will be a VERY fast trial! I just went and got a fresh set of five Shivans myself. Looking forward to this, see you there! -
Quote:Not yet. I'm in the eye of the storm at the moment. In a couple of days things will be hectic again as I start scribbling away furiously again. On the upside it's a long weekend here in New Zealand. Monday is Labour Day. All power to the proleteriat!Nice piece, CH! I can't wait to see it colorized! Have you chosen the colorist yet?

Nipples or no, you have some truly amazing pieces of artwork by some very talented people

Bear and Eagle - Comrade Hero and Graviton Girl lines by the talented Adam Withers.
...although technically both Russia and America are represented by symbolic eagles, and Comrade Hero's surname Biryukov (Бирюков) originates from the term biryuk, meaning "wolf."

Quote:The back is slowly getting better, just a typical long-lasting strain, caused during exercise of all things.four heroines, four awesome pieces of art, sorry about your back.
I think out of the four, Last Avatar (the third) is my favorite
Quote:Wow, those are amazing! I wish I had even an ounce of talent like that..
Quote:I am totally loving your collection, CH!! You have lots of awesomeness going on! -
Haven't updated in a while mainly because I put my back out, am busy finishing my Diploma in Creative Writing and getting my Proposal together for Creative New Zealand contestable arts funding, and have been rolling along helping family and friends with tax returns, employment contracts, and all of life's other little stumbling blocks.
Anyways....
My heroines four by the talented Kyle Durand. The lines and colors were finished a few weeks ago, but I've only just gotten around to posting them.

Quote:That's just beautifulSorry?
First up is a pic from Andantonius (hopefully I spelt that right!) - It was a fan/tribute piece he did of Calvin and Hobbes which really caught my eye - he doesn't usually do superheroes - but I absolutely LOVE what he did with Fenian here...

Happy Joyous Day of Birthing Remembrance to You!
