Here's another option for those that want to play those sundays. If you still want to play, log in with your toon and once everyone that is going to make it is there, we decide "what and where" and switch toons and run around a bit with the other toons. It would allow those that want to play, the ability to play with each other and learn more about each others play style, and still make sure that we don't out-level those that can't make it.
We did this once in a while on my old static team, it made for a nice switch and let us see a different side of the player we were so used to (from playing only with the static toons)

thats fine by me. I don't want to see people to quit over something like that either.

Hey Hot Knife, think we might need some new blood too. With Necro (brute) gone due to circumstances beyond his control, BG (corruptor) is temporarily gone and BA (our other brute) has gone MIA again, and the fact that team static cling from sunday, (that started 3 weeks after hot knife) has now passed us in level. Anyone know of a Brute that might be interested in joining? Any AT could work, but with no Brutes to hold aggro it can be interesting at times.

just a reminder to team hot knife, I have to work this week to finish setting up for black friday. Eat lots of food and i'll see ya next wednesday.

Team Hot Knife was a bit short handed again, but with Butters help, took down some GM's and ran a number of paper missions.

thanks to the servers catching fire (or their hamsters escaping) and dumping both hotknife and butter offline at the same time, Hotknife is calling it quits for tonight after only and hour and a half. We are hoping to do the Cape Mish next week.

Broken Goddess asked if team Hot knife would mind running 7-9 this wed instead of 8-10 since he's working 3rd shift that night. I talked with most of you sunday eve in game and am waiting to hear back from a couple more of you. So far 6 out of 8 can do it. If you see this message, let me know if you are OK with the earlier shift this week.
I'll wait another day and resend messages to the last 2 in case the first ones dissappeared in transit.

Are we still starting the TF this wednesday?
If so, we will all have to be in aggreement as to the start time.

I think we should do 1 more run which would put us all at 15+ before we do synapse. The part of static teaming is to go up together. For us to jump up to 15 by ourselves just to run a TF, kinda defeats the purpose of a static team.

Team Hot Knife made it to 18 last night, even without our brutes and dominator. It was interesting at times.
Looks like next week we are going to try a Task Force. I have no idea which one since i've never done a red-side TF.

BA, since you weren't there, i sent the info to meltdown for this week.

we'll, it looks like we'll be three or 4 short tonight. BA, Theidiot and Necrof1m. Hopefully BG makes it like BA thought he might. Without either of our tanks, could be an interesting run.

Following our discussion during wednesday nights villian static, I contacted Mindripper and he has okayed us using the old Unleashed SG and Base (that we used for the old wed hero static) for the sunday hero static team.
This base has ALL the TP stations and full medical. I will get everyone into the SG sunday evening.
He has just one rule for us, if we take anything from the storage bins, make sure you are using it on THAT toon. They are not for sale or trade.

While I"m thinking about it. are we going to use the same SG as the thursday night hero teams? If you want, i can see if I can get ahold of Mindripper and see if we can use the old Unleashed base again. Thats the one we used for the past couple years for our old wednesday hero static team. It's fully functional with all the transporters. Our old team helped to keep the lights on since it isn't really an active SG anymore. (Even though some of us still have toons in it)

truthfully, i'm still trying to decide what to make. I"ve made and deleted a number of toons already this past week. (play em to 3rd level) Just can't seem to find a combination that i like. I have a 5th level scrapper sitting on this server i could take, but in groups i prefer using ranged attacks. I'll keep playing around.

Now that I have a working keyboard again. (prefered my dead one), I will play around a little this weekend and decide what to make.
