Im on BVU-Optinet. Its only available in Virginia. But either way. I've tried that allready.


But you know whats kind funny... lol... I found a little thing in kaspersky called "Pro-active Defense" which apparently is separate from the firewall. It apparently monitors all internet activity for packages that are being sent, and it looks like it was blocking connections with the Updater, cause no that i turned it on i'm getting 93K/sec

On to the problem!

I recently updated the hardware in my computer, and decided to reformat my harddrive to vista.

Well everything went fine, my internet works great, and i can update other games with ease. But for the CoH updater that is a different story. I cap out at 10kb/s 0.o. I first tried last thursday and nothing has changed. I've forwarded my ports in my router and configured my firewall. I've tried bypassing my router along with turning off my anti-virus/firewall completely but i still can't get past 10kb/s

I've also tried connecting directly to CoH's ips, and i've tried going through specific ports. But nothing seems to work...

Computer specs:
Asus Motherboard
AMD Phenom 9600 Quad Core Processor
4 Gigs of ram
Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS
Windows Vista 64 bit

Network:
10Meg Download
1meg upload

Anti-virus/internet secruity
Kaspersky Internet security 2009

Any ideas to what could be going on would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
