I'm not the most computer savvy person around... *I know some... just not a lot* So, I'm not getting why I can't log in to City of Heroes... I just downloaded the free trial... I get through the updater okay... but then, when I try to login, it tells me that either the servers are down (which according to the site, they are not) or that I'm having some kind of network problem... I've lowered the settings on my firewall, it still doesn't work...
I live on a college campus... and I've seen that it says something about not having the right ports or whatever... I'm not sure I really understand that... I've been able to play other MMO's just fine... so, why wouldn't this one work? I mean... Don't they all kind of operate the same???
I guess if its not going to work, its not going to work... Nothing I can do about it... but it's a real shame... Is there anything else I can try? And if not... I don't suppose anyone would be able to recommend (if that's allowed) an MMO that's kind of like this with lots of customization and such?
