Thanks for the reply. I've done that numerous times and it hasn't fixed anything. I've even deleted the .pigg files in the hopes they would be redownloaded. No real luck there.

ok so this is fun. I had a friend copy over his sound.pigg file to a network shared folder for me to snag. It worked beautifully. Now I'm sitting on sound3.pigg, and it took overnight to sit and do nothing again. So now it looks like the updater isn't updating. Any ideas?

I've seen a few threads where people complain of this file taking forever to load. Yeah, mine is stuck too.

I started out by trying to update the game client using the standard updater. I've tried to install from downloading the client. I've uninstalled and reinstalled from the CD's and attempted a full update. I've even tried to install from the EU servers (to simply copy the sound.pigg file from one directory to another in the hopes it would then skip that file and move on to the next one). Is there possibly some FTP link where I can download this file? I'm really getting frustrated here.

Yes, I've read that it takes a while. But I just had my pc running for the last two days and it's been stuck at the exact same point. I'm normally a patient guy but this is getting ridiculous.

edit: system specs are as follows.
Windows 7 64 Ultimate, 8 gigs of ram, Dual core AMD 3.3 GHz processor, 3 hard drives and the partition with this game has well over 80 gigs of free space left.
