  1. I've personally had no problems in the last 4 years on a great many games with my ATI card until this problem (including with this game)... so I'm not really sure where all the complaining comes from really (not from you, but in general). At the time my card came out... Nvidia cards were slower and problematic... now presently its the reverse... its the nature of this piece of industry... neither is horrible... they just go back & forth.

I also verified all files... seemed to fix it... although I have no idea for how long as I only had about 5 minutes to actually log in and look around.
  3. One other thing I haven't looked too much into... but it seems to happen mostly on the villains side... and not really on the heroes side for me. Not sure if its just random coincidence or not... but figured I'd mention it anyway.
  4. I haven't seen a post that really explains my issue... but many that have addressed small portions of it.

First, I'm running an old ATI 9600 pro... I know that alone seems to be problematic... but still.

Secondly grouped or solo, I'm getting massive graphics problems. Tons of small rectangles that are colored yellow for the most part. To the point nothing is readable and half the UI is gone. This also DOES effect the loading screens and login screen... let alone every single other aspect of the game. Rebooting does not help.

I have run spyware and antivirus checks, and I have updated all drivers -> No fix.

This is also one of more than 8 games I play... and is the only game that I have any problems with at all (short of slow fps... but hey... its an old card on an old system... its to be expected).

The toons look blocky and the mose pointer turns into a square multicolored artifact... enhancements are impossible to make out, etc. Any water(ish) effect goes completely ballistic.

If there is another thread on this... please point me to it. I looked and did not see it.

Any ideas or am I just pretty much SOL?

As a last note... I've been playing this game off and on for the last 3-4 years with the same vid card on the same OS (xp pro). The only upgrades have been cpu and more ram.
