I got CoV a few days ago (thank you PCGamer for the free trial) and i went off and made a character. then it got to the bit where you enter the description and i took this as "enter origin story here", so i did. i have since expanded it to include two of my other characters and my fourth looks to be included in this tale as well. anyway, onto what im showing off. after i looked in here i saw loads of artwork of characters and thought i'd give it a go with mine. In this post you will find my origin story (expanded a bit) and my sketch.
Origin story:
He once belonged to a small thief group with some close friends. He would steal from the richer people of Paragon and even ventured onto the Rogur islands to raid some of the labs there. His Origin event happened on his biggest, and last, job. The group's leader, F'nar Xyzet had learnt that there was scientist beggining development on nanobot technology and he saw that there would be great adavntage to obtaining this as it would sell very well and it could possibly be used to improve the group, boosting their thievery skills. He sent his most experienced member, Bel' Kihna, on this mission. Bel managed toget a job as the scientists assistant and learnt a great deal about the technology. After a few months, the scientist truted Bel enough to look after the technology while he went off on a business trip. It wasn't even an hour after the scientist had left and Bel'already had the tech in a van on the way to the safehouse. When he got their he set it up and decided to use it on himself to gain the extra power he wanted. The proccess of transferring the nanobots began well but halfway through one of the machines overloaded and exploded. This set off the other machines and Bel was blown clear from the building, missing his right arm and lower left arm. Luckily, there were enough nanobots in him that they replicated and rebuilt his shattered body, keeping him alive. The nanobots rebuilt his arms from nearby bits of metal. He woke up in prison a changed person. His skin was now black and he marvelled over his newfound speed and strength and ability to make himself near invisible. His arms were also fatser and stronger and he found his katana was able to morph and become part of his new arm.
