Lucard groaned at Maria and simply side steped her attack. "foolish girl, there is more at stake here than your childish pride! the fate of all vampires, lapdog or free, is in peril because of this girl!". He placed his pistols in their holsters and raised his hands in a sign of peace and surrender. "WE SHOULD NOT BE FIGHTING HERE!".

The ferals sprinted as fast as they could, dodging the explosives and staying under the bullets of the tanks' guns. They easily caught the tanks and slammed into the sides of the two on the outer edges. Both ferals began to pound on their respective target's armour, trying to punch through the side and consume the men within.
  2. Lucard had decided to speed up his chase for Tomb, and moved quickly towards the mine, flying at top speed through the jungle, keeping himself out of phase to avoid being seen or trapped. He observed the Vampires on the ledge, Pious and his team, and the Dragon with its writing on the ground and thought fast.

"well, It would seem that all parties, and atleast one unknown, has reached the place of main attention. I see the mine is collapsed, i assume one of Tomb's traps? or perhaps someone beat you too the punch? Leon, how can you shame the vampire name by wearing such an outfit into battle? and I do hope, Pious, that you arent going to risk the extermination of a people by being gentle with Tomb?" he said coming into phase with the world around him, a small smirk on his face but his words betraying his serious nature in this game of Tomb's own making.

section D5 was about to be come very interesting, Lucard could tell.

Blade looked at Suraya, then to the mercenary. They were in the metal hut Blade had cleared. "Suraya, see to the other two, make sure their alright. Lord knows what the sniper could have done to them. Now, how about you and me have a little chat my mercenary friend? First off, do you have any way to communicate with your commanding officer outside? Secondly, where is Tomb, and finally what traps, forces and plans do your people have?"
  3. Feegles? where? did someone bring the brandy!? Every man for his trousers!

just a bit of comedy for those who know ya ken

Hope ya feel better soon CB

P.S CB, am i correct in assuming that any mercenary group willing to provide assistance would have been allowed onto the island?

Lucard snarled at Jack "I just told you the jungle was full of traps Jack!". He spun around looked south. "Tomb is that way, if you want to go around then fine, do so, but Tomb isnt going to store things in this jungle. Head south, make your way to the refinery and the city, I intend to reach the mines. I think Tomb is in the mountain. Jack, the zombies are under your command, not mine. Use them as you will, but as Elizabeth suggested, use flyers above the trees. Elizabeth, in this, I have one aim. Kill Tomb. I will hunt the creator, your boys hunt the virus."

Lucard headed towards the mines as intended, leaving the werewolf to do as he pleased. Lucard was fed up with the pitiful state ELizabeth had let the court get into. Recruiting mercenaries like the wretched elf Morilanthi, who had no respect for their betters, had made the Court weak and full of turmoil. Once Tomb was dealt with, Lucard promised to teach the Court, and the Council of X, to respect those who knew better than them.
  5. I just wanted to check he hadnt had the snipers....do anything visible to them, thats all
  6. right then, so armoured but not CoX heavy armour. gotcha

The feral in the building screamed loud and terrible as the shot hit, sending the creature flying upward, burned and screaming, its hind legs wrecked, but still alive as it fell to the pavement. It began to crawl towards the nearest building, entering as fast as it could and using its arms alone to propel itself at the nearest soldier inside. It hooked its teath into his skin and ripped his throat out, biting and drinking up his blood as it flowed out and eating chenks of his flesh, his skin and legs visibly healing and regrowing as he drained. Stunned, the other troops in the building came back to their sences and began to fire, the bullets entering their comrade as the feral lept up into the shadows of the next floor, leaving a rusted whole in the iron.

The other two ferals burst from their own buildings at their pack mate's cry of pain. Instead of heading towards him, they sprinted on all fours, headed for the tank.

    H3

Blade moved quickly, speeding around the buildings to reach Buzzclaw and Maria, grabbing them without looking at what had been done and carrying them out and round to his secured building, stopping only to gesture for Suraya to join him.

Lucard sighed as the music began to play. "She really cant play that game at all can she, stupid brat, should stick to what she's good at" he stated in a calm voice, only a hint of excitement and rage showing in his tone.

Looking down, he noticed the acid and the zombies disappearing. Calling out "get out of the puddles!" he spun around and fired a stream of incendiary rounds into the trees, setting them alight, not caring about the burning zombies.
  8. CB, wat 'things' have the troops done? seriously thats a worrying phrasing
also how heavily armoured is the tank firing on the port?
  9. A9, The Iron Port

The ferals climbed up the side of the port from the beach. Just enough to see over. The scurrying humans looked like tasty snacks to them, but they could sence the danger and recognised the guns poking from holes in the buildings. Climbing back down to the beach, they jumped high nto the air, to fast for a normal human to see, and landed on the roofs of three near by buildings. One Feral to a building, their strong arm muscles easily ripping through the rusted iron of the buildings and inside, where they could reak a bloody harvest on the occupants, safe from outside gunfire. Their hieghtened speed, strength and resiliance to pain giving them great advantage over the mercenaries they preyed upon.

    H3

Maria and Buzzclaw saw the flash of light as the disorientating flashbangs went off. Unable to see, they were completely at the mercy of any gaurds that may come to aid their friends.

Blade on the other hand had already knocked the mercenaries cold before they could switch to flashbang grenades, and saw the light coming from the building Buzzclaw had gone into.

The Corrander armour, piloted by the computer system MARTHA, went on the attack, charging forward and unsheathing a techno sword, like Blade's it was set to stun only, and began attacking anyh gaurds outside on her way forward, trying to draw as much fire as possible to protect her teammates.
  10. DId Tech just rip the soul out of a rhino? my eyes dont believe what their reading its too fantastic.
  11. Dev, are we gonna be able to see your dragon creature from anywhere on the island? I mean cause of its size and all?
  12. Im assuming taking out the bottom floors of two small buildings with quick and speedy attacks isnt going too far yes? Since super speed does infact give stealth due to moving too fast and Maria can shoot spines from her body which, in reality, would pin a person.
  13. Square H3

Blade smirked as the bullets began to fire. The Corrander suit could take a few minutes of this kind of punishment, but not much more without the chance to repair. Blade moved as fast as he could. "Suraya, Buzzclaw, Maria, move now! Take them out fast! Keep to cover". Over the comms he said "Pious, we are moving now, the city is full of gaurds, but i can here the disturbance in the port from here, sounds like something big is going down." and with that said, he dashed out towards the nearest building, his superspeed letting him clear the distance easy and crashthrough the door. Swinging his blade around neatly, he brought low the merc inside with ease, moving too fast for them to respond as he hit them with his laser sword, set to stun so as not to kill them.

Buzzclaw and Maria moved quickly, Buzzclaw rasing a wall of ice to protect from the gunfire as they moved to the nearest house. The scared but eager Maria bursting in and releasing a shower of spines in all directions, pinning the gaurds inside. As Buzzclaw moved inside, he sent a wave of ice out so that anyone trying to hit them from behind would slip up.
  14. Lucard grinned at Elizabeth. "the ferals will hunt as they please, and will make a mess of things. Attacking from the rear of those pillboxes is best. I suggest Jack and his pack take care of them. I think the feral's are heading into the port itself now in anycase."

Lucard flew a little higher to get a better view of the beach turned battefield. Body parts had been sent flying in all directions and the hail of gunfire seemed to have ripped the zombiefied crew completely to shreds now. He drew his pistols and began to let fly at the enemy on the beach.
  15. Ok, first off i must of missed the info on the pillboxes, will rewrite to take them into account (assuming i can find the info)

Secondly, Pious, the ferals arent stupid enough to just walk onto sand they they just saw go boom. However, they're intellignece is still like that of a predatory animal. Good when it comes to hunting and staying alive, but your not gonna see them doing things like magic.
And most ambush predators know how to hunt btw, to lurk in shadows and strike when least expected sort of thing.

Anyway, the beach, according to the map, hits a sudden dead end and becomes what looks like the port area. Thats where the ferals would have gone to rather than try to get across the minefield, which they now know to be there.

Hope thats better for everyone now, really sorry again, missed the pillboxes, dont know how, but did. And as for the ferals getting past the mines, they dont use magic but are still vampires with excellent sences and speed, so they could avoid them. But not a hail of gunfire im afraid.
  16. Blade looked back at his wife, his Corrander armour obscured his face but he smiled anyway and said "I know, Tomb isnt stupid enough to leave it under protected, but i have an idea." With a spin the Corrander armour flew off Blade and reformed itself. Blade stood in his nighthunter armour instead. The Corrander suit said "MARTHA here, complying with orders". The Corrander suit began to walk itself out of the stealth field and into view of the buildings. If there was someone waiting for them, all they would see was Blade Racer walking into the open.

Lucard, floating above the jungle floor and staying out of phase to avoid the trip wires he knew would be around, stopped infront of Elizabeth's mirror. "Good evening Jack, and good evening Countess, a pleasure to see you here. My plan seems to be working if the sounds from the port are to be judged. Jack, I would watch your step, seems to be some rather nasty traps around." he said with a smile, one that only just hid his seriousness at the mission. "I'm afraid someone woke the feral's early Elizabeth, seems they may have turned some of the crew into ghouls. Still I doubt it will be an issue, we are heading for the old mine, as it seems to be the perfect place for Tomb to hide. I will update you when we know more, I assume you wont be joining us after all?" he querried.

    ++++

On the beach, the Ghouls were cut down by the mines and the gunfire. The ferals behind them slinked back slowly, hiding in the surf just on the edge of the beach. They look to either side of them, sniffed the air, then ran along the shore front towards the port.
  17. uhhhh, what about Phasing out? is that possible and does the island effect it?
Also sorry if the 60 ghouls were over the top, have lowered to 15
  18. Square A9

The surf rolled up against the port. The bodies of the crew of the recently sunk cargo ship appeared on the beach below. However the dead men were getting up, and walking towards the port with a ghoullish intent. To feast on anything they could find. 15 in all, but soon there would be more as they went about they're greusome task of turning Tomb's men, one by one, into ghouls like themselves.

Behind them, and moving far quicker, came creatures from a long forgotten time. These beasts had survived the sinking of the ship with ease, and swam quickly to the shore, hungry and eager. These feral, ancient vampires had only a limited intelligence, but they were keen hunters...and they had a target. Lucard had given them the scent of Tomb's breath. They would hunt her until one side was dead. Crawling along the ground on all fours for increased speed, this cave dwelling species were blind, but their pointy ears couldhear better, and their batlike nose could smell better, than any werewolf or vampire you care to mention. They could smell the people in the port, and they began to hunt, quickly and stealthily moving towards their new prey.

    B5 The jungle

Lucard had easily avoided the mines, although they had moved slowly towards his metallic guns. He had been forced to simply come above the surface but was so close to the ground when he had to that it wouldnthave made any difference. Lucard hovered carefully, moving into the jungle.

He moved swiftly and quietly, hovering above the jungle floor to avoid the poisenous plants and any traps that Tomb might have placed there. He looked up at the mountain and smiled to himself, it would be the perfect place for Tomb to hide. Swiftly he began to head south, towards the old mine.

H3, on the border of the ghost town

Blade and his looked at the ghost town. They were stealthed for the moment, but as soon as they left the cloaking field, a device given to them by the late Rack Up, they would probably have to fight.

Over the Amulet communication, Blade sent a quick communication. "Pious, we read you, we are almost set to move on the ghost town, we are just seeing what we can see". As he said this, Blade looked out over the ghost town, trying hard to spot any movement. "will update when read".
  19. The missles impacted with the side of the cargoship. As the ship began to sink into the waves, screams could be heard over the comms. No orders or instructions, just panicked shouts and then a slight gurgling and a dread indusing howl.

Lucard looked around at the noise of the explosion, then smiled as he looked out the window to see the sinking ship. It had served it's purpose already and, alone in the cabin of the yatch, he decided it was time to begin moving. Quietly, calmly, he left via an underwater route, not needing to breathe becoming quiet the advantage as he flew towards the Island, keeping himself under the water.
  20. The captain of the cargo ship responds "This is the cargo vessel Merisin, we have been struck with engine trouble and our mechanic is attempting to fix the problem. Seems the tide has caused us to drift towards your island but we put down anchor and should not cause any trouble". The captain's voice is shaking as it come back over the comms. "we have an escort yatch containing a small group of gaurdsto aid in preventing pirates and raiders from stealing our cargo".
  21. Just on the edge of square A6

The cargo ship achored itself in the waters. The crew of the ship hurried about on top, none of them wanted to go into the hold, knowing what was down there and fearing what might become of them if they did dare to venture into the darkness below their feet. No sound came from underneath, but two of their fellows had been curious and screams had been heard.

Behind the cargo ship, but in view of the island, a medium sized, motorised yatch. A fairly large boat, though nowhere near the size of the cargo ship.
In the main room in the yatch, Lucard Vas Normak was studying a map of the island, working out where Tomb might be, and how best to invade the island.
  22. Ok, we have begun, so whos going first then? and what players do we have getting involved?
  23. Ok, we have begun, what players do we have getting involved? ive placed Lucard only for now, my other players will be waiting to see what happens
  24. Lucard waited in his room, dismantling and rebuilding his pistols over and over, just to keep himself calm. It had gone on too long and he could still hear the laughter in his head. He wasnt sure if he was going crazy with the rage Tomb, or the elf Moril, or the drell creature. He wasnt even sure if he was going crazy at all.

His phone beeped and he looked at the message.
It read "Request of transfer denied. However request to hunt down Tomb accepted. Arrest, detain and bring to us. Lethal force if authorised. Kill her if need be. You have the backing of the Empire.
    V.
P.S. Good luck and good hunting"

Lucard smiled and reassembled his pistols. Time to finish the preparations.
  25. I would like to have you all know that it is Lucard who has the most rage towards the girl. there is little chance of her escaping alive from this one.
