Character Name: The Black Beetle

Inspiration: I'll admit it. My original idea was a joke character to play around with Dark Melee. I wanted to make a crazy hispanic dude who ran around screaming BEETLEEEEEE and talking in third-person. Think of Speedy Gonzolas.
But over time the idea developed into a dark Batman-esque character seeking revenge, but with superpowers. But still Hispanic and on the verge of insanity, for kicks. =P

Inspiration: This one is pretty cookie-cutter. The generic strong, handsome (OK, that's pushing it), kind-hearted patriotic dude with stars all over his costume. I think I was reading an issue of The Ultimates and admiring Captain America's concept when I created him. He was one of my first characters and still sits on the top of my Justice roster today, collecting dust. The generic concept got booooooring.
