Im not using a Mac, just for odd reason the only web browser that isnt as slow as a snail on my computer is Safari. But I've found an old forum from way back about it. SO fingers crossed that it works.
Good look for your problem as well, hope it works out.

Then I click the "ok" box, and then this message pops up:

There was an error starting the self-updater: The system cannot find the file specified.

It says that every time i try to open mids. And if i try to save the file for issue 19 download, its as an MHZ file and the system says it cannot recognize it.
Oh, well I can't help you there, but, do you have any idea how to fix my problem?
  3. Hey dude, I think I may be having the same problem. Would the error happen to be:

    Failed to rename c:\Program Files\Safari\cohupdater.eu.exe to c:\Program Files\Safari\cohupdater.eu.prv
or something like that? If so, I think there is something up with the recent issue. I've tried the Updater on a Windows Xp and Vista and the same thing is popping up.

    CohUpdater Error

Ok, a few months ago, I decided to try CoH and CoV and really enjoyed them both, but never got round to buying the full game. Now that it is nearing christmas, my older brother thought he would buy me the full game. But before I allowed him to spend his money on a game I may not like anymore, I decided create a new account (as I forgot all my old details) and try the 7 day free trial again.
But, every time I try to install it, the following message pops up:
    Failed to rename c:\Program Files\Safari\cohupdater.eu.exe to c:\Program Files\Safari\cohupdater.eu.prv
I've tried it on various different web browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome) and the same thing pops up. Is there any possible way I can fix this?
    Thanks.
