As far as I know and from what I've heard only Fortunatas and Spider minions inside of missions do count toward these badges. And Spider Smasher is for killing Minions with "Spider" in it's name, not for doing a number of missions.

Didn't see it mentioned in the thread, but for City of Villains the "Coralax Blue Hybrid" badge is currently working. Spent a while flying around Port Oakes killing ONLY Blue Coralax, got the badge after about 100 of them. Also, the Blue Ink Men count for the Serpent Red Ink Man gladiator in CoV too, not just in CoH.

Just thought you'd like to know.

My Blaster High Beam has the Behemoth Overlord. It popped when I first logged on after I6 release so I have not been able to nail down how I got it. It could be tied to the Demon Slayer Badge (Baphomet) in Angus McQueens mission. Or it might be tied to the instance he shows up in the Shadow Shard Task Force (#4 that is). This is just supposition but I indeed have that badge. So at least it aint broken. I am continuing to research it by cross checking my other toons.

The Behemoth Overlord Gladoator is tied to the "Demon Slayer" badge. I also have the Gladiator, but not the 4th Shard.

Yes, there seems to be a Shivan Gladiator. But nobody saaid that this is tied to a "Kill X" Badge or number. Don't forget that the Gladiator may also be tied to an Accomplishment, History or Accolade badge!

I tried this with a friend. He took his villain and fielded 3 snakes every time. We fought 11 battles, and I had done 2 battles before where i might have killed 2 snakes or so.

My total amount should have been 33-35 Snakes (Cobras) then. I knew that I got the Mongoose Badge at 31 Snakes with my villain, but my Hero didn't get it then.

So sadly, it seems that this option is either bugged, or not intended to be possible for Heroes/Villains.

Yeah, that is quite confirmed. "Chermer" gives you the Hydra Protean, "Liberator (the Eden Trial) might give you the Boulder.

Killed 299 Ancestor Spirits (maybe 300 perhaps I miscounted one) and got "Swift Steel".

Regarding Fortunata Seer and Arachnobot: I think these are CoV-only gladiators. I'm pretty sure that Villains get gladiators that heroes can't get, similar as heroes get gladiators that villains can't get (for example Meson or Behemoth Overlord).

Anyone has imformation about the requirements of "Abomination"? Vidiotmaps says it comes with the "Synapse Cohort" TF badge, but I can't believe this (Abomination is a Vazhilok minion, so why get this at a Clockwork TF?). Maybe it is for the Positron TF badge? Sadly most heroes I checked with either had both Positron and Synapse TFs or neither of them.

Could some of you maybe fill me in with informations?

Same goes for:
Boulder - Maybe Liberator, the Eden Trial Badge?
Omega wolf - The Silver Bullet?
7th Generation Paragon Protector - Infiltrator?
Wraith - Croatoa Haunted badge?

Anyone just recently got one of those and could verify if s/he also got a gladiator?

Correction: You have to fight Cobras in the Arena if you are a hero. Cause as a hero, you can't get Snake missions or get to a zone where snakes linger.

"The Mongoose" is for killing Snakes. You can only get this badge by fighting villains in the Arena. As for the "Spider Smasher" badge. I think I've heard that you can't get this badge as Hero

Strange, cause yesterday I was fielded against a Mastermind and a Brute with my Tank. Both had Cobras, and I think one had Mooks.

The Arena for Villains is the same as for Heroes. Both can play against each other!

Ah I see my error. Yes, the "Cobra" Gladiator is tied to the "Snake Charmer" exploration badge in CoV, but the achievement badge "The Mongoose" for killing Snakes can be obtained through the Arena matches in CoH

This sounds like an idea. Make the 1st Shard TF like the Ernesto Hess or Katie Hannon TF's.

First you have to do important missions for the Shard Contacts (more interesting missions from Doc Boyd and so on) and give clues in form of a Story Arc summary. Then when you have finished those missions you have to meet a special contact (can stay Dr. Quaterfield) who will issue you with a TF that should be aproximately half the size (mission-wise) but would end the same way the original TF does.
