So how is cryptic making Marvel's MMO? Isn't that gonna be kinda wierd seeing as it will be direct competiton with COX? Seems to me one game will suffer because of this. Personally I think this should have been a Marvel/DC game in the first place. I think Marvel was angry they didn't think of it first, which had alot to do with the lawsuit. I would think Cryptic has alot of expience and worked out all the bugs with COH and then COV, so the Marvel MMO should be great fun. However, any game microsoft touches turns to crap. So I geuss we will just have to wait and see.
My question is this, If Marvel MMO is as good as COX or better, COX will lose loads of customers....So why would Cryptic make the Marvel MMO? and because they are both Cryptic games...any chance of them intermingling?

Cam.....I was with you like 10 posts ago, but now your just being annoying. We understand you don't like the downtime and so do the devs if they read this. Point taken, you can quit now.

When I get settled I will make a post here but will likely start a new forum and just start from scratch.....but I'll post here first to let you all know. Can't wait to finish some pieces and start some new ones (:

i couldn't agree more. i've heard from some who started in CoV and came to CoH later that they despise the hollows, so maybe that makes a difference. i started in CoH, and the hollows is (as i believe it was designed to be) the first real wake up call to what a hazard zone should be. watch out for the mobs, watch out for the gulch, and, "whoa, what's with all the igneous that just sprouted from the ground?!" were wonderful lessons to learn, and i wouldn't replace them or change them one bit.

Ugh! too each his own....but comon'!!! I can't believe anyone would "like" a zone that
!. you are almost forced to go to at a very low level
2. you have to travel insane distances with no travel power
3, There are mobs that are not just higher lvl, but waaaaay out level you. like one shot you out level you
4 no hospital
5. no trainer

I understand it's a hazard zone.....but most people enter it at level 6-10, and there is no reason for it to be so tedious. Chances of your level 6 making the ten minute trip to the bottom right corner for a mish is slim. The cop should tell you(for new players) that it might be a good idea to load up on wakies for the hospital is in another zone.

What really surprises me is that NCSoft doesn't mind that this is the first impression people get of COH. My first toon was a tank and I quit for this reason at lvl12 and only came back because COV. I occasionally suffer thru COH because I like the ATs, but I'm hoping for some major changes here.

Who is Alex Ross? Any relation to Bob? It is /was a picture of someone very fanous.....can anyone tell who it is? I didn't think it would end up looking that much like him, but it kinda does. BTW I'm not using Paint, I'm using Photoshop and 90% of what I do is select small areas at a time and use the brightness/contrast slider.

Thanks for all the love! I was gonna finish up Feral Kitty but I've moved on to another piece. Found a new technique on PS and I'm very anxious to do another. As far as the different styles and quality, I really like the anime/cartoony style of Joe Mad, Keron Grant, ect. how they exaggerate certain things such as skinny wrist with big oversived hands. Anyways, I'm not very good at it yet and I want to be so you'll see more of that type of thing from me in the future. Right now I'm set on doing more realistic female characters using Men's magazine women as reference models. I have a new Shading technique I want to perfect.....k, done rambling

Thank you! Glad you like it. LOL I found that mens magazine chicks help alot for shading and when I'm like hmmmmm how would her boob look if she's in that position? Anyway thanks again glad you like her.

BTW, Anyone interested in an artwork trade let me know. I have a few characters I'd like to see done in someone elses style.

Well Trollslayer, sorry if you did'nt like your Agent Jade. It was a quick cartoony drawing I did and decided to color and post it. The last two I took alot of time on. Anyway, it is free so whats with the insults? You say your not being negative but you basicly said the Agent JAde I did is crap. If you don't like it I can simply erase it but there is no reason to post negative comments when this is all free and I'm just doing it for fun.Some get pencil sketches, some get cartoony charactatures , some get my best artwork....it just depends on what mood i'm in.
P.S. The Agent Quicksilver is a total wolverine rip off so it shouldnt be included in with my "good" artwork. It's more of a picture alteration then a, original drawing.
