  1. Very nice work tonight, folks. We had a full Hive with nearly 100% participation, which always leads to good things happening. We had a longer spawn, but then dropped Hami in a very efficient 34 minutes.

Thanks to everyone who came out, and especially my support toons and team leaders: Golden Tower, Sweet Loving, Ascended Avenger, Amadaeus Muse, Sausage Toes, and Grim Maligne. Outstanding work!

Hope to see you there next week!
  2. Still in the Hive taking down Hami every Wednesday at 9:30 eastern, PG. Come out and have some jell-o!
  3. Thanks to everyone who came out to help me celebrate my 40th birthday with some jell-o tonight. We had a long spawn, but then a solid 43-minute raid.

As always, thanks to the support folks on my team, as well as to my team leaders: Golden Tower, Uriah, Ascended Avenger, Grim Maligne, and Nuclear Target.

I had planned to give a surprise present to Guardian to celebrate my birthday, and offered to run a second Hami raid tonight following the conclusion of the first. Unfortunately, the combination of the long spawn and the Halloween event meant that we didn't have enough folks to get the second raid going. I know there is some interest in that (or simply in a later raid at some point), so I may well run back-to-back raids in the near future if we get a quicker spawn and there are enough folks on willing to participate. More to come...
  4. And in the manner that Guardian has come to expect, we turned in another 37 minute raid tonight. We had a long spawn time, but everyone was ready to go when the jell-o finally showed his face....or whatever that was.

Thanks as always to the outstanding support toons on my team, along with my team leaders: Raspberrie Necter (Ariel as a scrapper?!?), Dark Emperor Magnus (well done for your first time leading), 0bsession, Grim Maligne, and Kiddygrade. Also, kudos to Golden Tower for taking the lead in the DE takedown to cause the spawn.

Hope to see you all next week!
  5. Once again, the Guardian server showed up and took care of the jell-O in an efficient 37 minutes. This is a bit more impressive when you realize that the Hive was NOT full, and never showed more than 45 in the zone.

Thanks as always to the support folks on my Hami aggro team, as well as to my team leaders: Kiddygrade, Grim Maligne, Sausage Toes, Shattered Thorn, and Cyrusen.

    See you all next week!

Are they still useful ? Should I go on and level him up or has changes made them useless. I would be thankful for any info! Thanks for your time. : )

Controllers are still necessary, and rads are one of the best secondaries to have. Hope to see you tomorrow night for the raid!
  7. Thanks to everyone who showed up for the jell-o goodness last night. We had a fairly quick spawn, and were then able to drop him in 45 minutes despite having some new folks and some new team leaders as well.

Special thanks as always go out to the support folks on my team, in addition to my team leaders: Sausage Toes, Kristoff Shadowcraft, Miss Aubie, Kiddygrade, and Mister Goon.

Hope to see you next week!
  8. Many thanks to everyone who showed up to smack Hami last night. We were able to take him down in about 50 minutes, despite a number of new folks, some lag issues, and a long spawn. My apologies for the raid going past 11 eastern, but with the random spawn rate, it is somewhat out of our control.

Special thanks as always to the buffers on my team, along with my team leaders (Viktor Ravenholm, Sausage Toes, Ms. Meltdown, Kiddygrade, and Street Stalker). Hope to see you all again next week!

Yuppers. Folks start forming up around 9:15 eastern, and we'll start taking down DE at 9:30 or as soon as I know I've got enough folks in place to succeed.
  10. Well, as you may have noticed, I didn't make it back at all. There were some complications with my son, who is still in the hospital, and I simply wasn't able to make it back.

I would like to thank all of those who patiently waited for me, and a very special thanks to my guildmates (specifically Heavenly-Healer and Kiddygrade), who knew how important it was to me not to let the community down, and who stepped up to lead a successful raid in my absence. You are why I'm proud to lead the Twilight Avengers.

If all goes as expected, I do anticipate a return next week. Thanks again.
  11. Events are conspiring against me, it seems....but at least this is a good event. My new son was born last night, and I'm hoping to bring mommy and baby home tonight at some time after 7:15 eastern. Therefore, I am uncertain what time I will be home.

If I am home before raid time, I will be there. If not, assuming I get home early enough, I will announce in Guardian and Level 50 channels and see if there's still enough interest to raid at that time (whenever it may be). We've not been able to do one of these for a few weeks, and I don't want to leave you all hanging. However, if it's too late...or I'm too wiped out...we'll just have to pick it up next week.

    So look for some jell-o....sometime....maybe....tonight.

  13. Unfortunately, I will not be able to lead the raid this evening as I am suffering from a migraine. I plan to be back at it next week.

    Sorry folks.
  14. Just as an FYI, I will not be available to lead the raid this week (September 2) as my wife and I will be celebrating our anniversary. If someone else would like to step up and lead, I'll be glad to share my macros. Just catch me in-game sometime between now and then.

    See you on the 9th!
  15. Thanks to everyone for another efficient raid. We took the Jell-o down in 40 minutes after a longer than average spawn time, and with a number of folks along for their first time.

Thanks as always to the support folks on my team, as well as to my team leaders: Grim Maligne, Sausage Toes, Street Stalker, Nuclear Target, and Golden Tower. Also a special thanks goes out to Kiddygrade, who served as our aggro tank leader through the spawning phase, DC'd and couldn't get back in because the Hive was full. Awesome job by everyone!

Honestly, by the time we realized we were running short of taunting tankers, the Hive was nearly full. We ended up with 5, though, which is enough considering I can aggro one in addition to Hami, at need. And we had one full controller team, which ended up being enough by the time we added a higher damage team to provide damage.
  17. Very nice work tonight at the Hami raid. We had a number of folks leading teams for the first time, and all of them did an outstanding job. In addition, in a complete role reversal, we had 15 or so scrappers and non-taunting tankers at the raid this week, where we have had, at best, enough for one team in previous weeks. This caused some of the teams to be somewhat different in make-up than the norm, and we were a little short on controllers and taunting tankers as a result.

However, the Guardian folks stepped up and took Hami down in an efficient 34 minutes anyway. Special thanks as always to the emps and other buffers on my aggro team, as well as to my team leaders: Animus Vorador, Greystone Phoenix, Nuclear Target, Ascended Avenger, Ariel', and La De Da.

    See you next week!
  18. And yet another stellar job by the Guardian server. We started clearing DE on time (9:30 eastern), got a spawn in a reasonable amount of time, and then dropped the Jell-O in a crisp 31 minutes.

As always, thanks to my team leaders (Kiddygrade, Natural Vengeance, Sausage Toes, La De Da, and Easy Target) as well as the support folks on my aggro team.

Hope to see you there next week!
  19. Once again, my thanks to everyone who showed up for a very efficient raid. We took down the jell-o in a crisp 35 minutes.

Special thanks to team leaders Grim Maligne, Ivy Valenzuela, Sausage Toes, Ordinary Boy, and Kiddygrade for another outstanding job, as well as to those folks who quietly keep me alive on the hami aggro team each and every week.

Hope to see you next week!
  20. Thanks to everyone for coming out last night. We were a little sluggish for the first two waves, but the last two picked up nicely, and we were still able to get it in under an hour.

Nice work to everyone, and especially my team leaders (Profile - Op M, Enfant Terrible, Sausage Toes, Ariel, and Grim Maligne).

I will be on vacation next week, so someone else is welcome to lead a raid. Otherwise, I'll see you all in the Hive on July 29th!
  21. Thanks to all who showed up for the jell-o wrestling this evening. We had a slow-arriving crowd, but started farming DE around the scheduled start time, and actually had a quick spawn. Unfortunately, because of the latecomers, we weren't able to actually start taking Hami down until a little past 10 Eastern.

For all that, it was a smooth 47 minute raid. Thanks to my team leaders (Grim Maligne, Sausage Toes, Ares Aneyalius, Kiddygrade, and La De Da) for their outstanding work. See everyone next week!
  22. I will not be available to lead the raid this week, as I'll be out of town on holiday. See you next week!
  23. Thanks to all of those who came out tonight for the raid. We had a lot of new folks, which is always a good thing. Of course, it does tend to take a little longer because of additional explanation or instruction, but it's worth it to get more folks involved.

I will apologize to those who are used to my normal rule--get it done by 11 eastern or don't start the raid. The spawn took a full 40 minutes tonight, so we were running long from the beginning. Add in the extra explanations for new folks, and the lack of damage we had (we were very short on blasters), and we didn't get done until 11:13. This is the rare exception to the rule, so my apologies to anyone the overtime may have affected.

Thanks to my team leaders once again (Street Stalker, Ariel', Miss Aubie, Kiddygrade, and Grim Maligne), and to everyone for sticking it out. And for those who just raided for the first time, welcome to the jell-o wars!

With the exception of when I'm unavailable for RL reasons, I run them every Wednesday at that time. Come out sometime when you're available.

Tomorrow night. Folks will start forming up in the Hive around 9:15 or so....scheduled to start at 9:30 EST. I will start clearing DE as soon as we have the numbers we need to succeed.
