Shadow let the demon escape. He would allow Ty'lak into his world, for he would be lost. and with out Shadow's guidence and only half the power he originally had, Ty'lak would come crawling back

Alice carried Sophie and Tyler while she sprinted towards the medibay

"So kid, you have a thing for Tyler?"

John armed his bow. his green hooded garb making him look out of place in the steel clad room. on his back was a green jet pack with a quiver attached

"Ok guys" he started, his voice deeper than his younger brother's "I could have the Wyvern help us scout around but I can't be bothered so let's get this over with. Expect strange activity around here. Look for the Circle or the Banished Pantheon, ok?"

Adam stood on the roof, facing the streets of the city. he was quietly meditating, thinking whether he should continue the lessons tomorrow...

Shadow grinned. he put his hand under Ty'lak's chin then ripped out his souls, balancing it on his index finger. Tyler's body returned to normal when Shadow shoved him out of the portal again. Shadow then tossed Ty'lak's sould into an orb of dark energy and watched as it changed into Ty'lak's desired form

meanwhile, in the normal world. Adam ran to Tyler as he led there

"Sophie! you and Alice get tyler to the medi room. John, you Pious, Myrytl and Dirgente scan the building for any strange activity" Adam ordered

"What are you gonna do?" Alice asked

"Think, and maybe learn from my mistake" Adam then flew out the training room door and towards the stairs to the school roof

"I think class is dismissed, do as your told then get to your next class" Dirgente ordered

"fine. now then. I wish to take you from Tyler and give you a new body, your choice obviously. you will have half your power because Tyler has the other half. however, I will teach you how to use your power more effectivley and maybe, I'll give you more of it. And then, if I so choose, you will be released into the real world so you can get back what you lost today. Plus you get to torment tyler to your heart's content" Shadow explained "Trust me, you think it's a bad deal now, you should see what I can turn you into, it will make you drool so much, there will be another sea in this world"

"I've been here since time began boy, I'm perfectly ready for death. now just get in here before I get bored further!" Shadow was easily bored so he wanted to get this over and done with before he heads somewhere and causes peril.

"you wont get vapourised. this is where all dark magic originated, much like yours. now get in here! you'll like it! the only people the miasma harms are those who managed to control light magic" he shook ty'lak's hand from the other side of the portal

"Kapiche. now, can you come in here? I'm getting bored and i want this over and done with before John get's here with something that might kill you"

"Excelent! this way please!" Shadow was rather chiper with this remark. He stepped into the portal after gesturing to Ty'lak to follow him in. inside was a massive city ruin. people screaming in pain and fear, Shadow daemons running rampant, corpses lined the streets. A bad guy's dream world.

"Now, I'm going to tell you what I want and how I can give us an advantage for years to come, agreed?"

"because your brain has been damaged. I'm honest, and I know that there's a part of you that wants this deal, and another that knows what it is. you should trust me because I can give you anything you want. and I mean anything, all you have to do is listen to my offer" he grinned evilly and gestured towards Adam, who was clueless to the whole thing

"and I wouldn't think of a plan to escape. among my hundreds of abilities, i read minds, I even know what your first memory was and how I can torment you for all eternity."

"Un fortunatley, there will not be a next time" Shadow growled. with a click of his fingers, a portal opened, and tendrils started to grab Ty'lak and restrain him. Shadow walked up to him and whispered in his ear

"One evil demon to another, follow me in here and I'll make you a deal you can't refuse, trust me, for people like us, it's iresistable. and there's kind of no option, you break free, and you have us to deal with" he clicked his fingers again and an animated army of minions appeared behind him, with half of them blocking the freshly made exit.

Shadow took in a deep breath and shrieked at an eardrum bursting tone. then by using a spell to keep the noise going, he flew light a dark comet at Ty'lak

"Never abuse my power again!"

"Ah, one of my sons must of taught you well. however, no one beats the best" as fast as lightning, Shadow had a grip around Ty'lak's throat, before wrapping his entire body with darkened tendrils, no airways "as you've just seen, now, where was I?"

"Shadow, don't hurt him"

"Ah, no worries, I'll just take Ty'lak's spirit away from Tyler's body and give him a shadow form, then i'll kick the [censored] out of him while Tyler is in a coma for an hour, Tyler will still have his power and even get to stay here, happy?"

"Confused and disturbed"

"close enough" Shadow dismissed as he set to work

"Now THAT'S where I draw the line!" Shadow appeared, firing a kick ten times as hard as Ty'lak's "I see you never learnt what I taught you. you see, if you do manage to kill him, the whole fabric of reality will tear, and there will be no world for you to rule. And, what you were going to do is my job" he used his tendrils to shock Ty'lak, trying to seperate Ty'lak from Tyler

"you are abusing my power child" Shadow stated "I'm going to halve it and give the other half to Tyler, that only seems fair, then I'll put you in the body of something more... suiting, a pig perhaps, or maybe a rat. and what you were going to do to Adam, I'll do to you"

Adam healed his jaw and looked up, seeing Shadow... help him?

~hey, he was going to kill you, he cant do my job!~

Adam now felt like he had lost his friend for good. there was no way he could hurt him either way. so he did the noble thing. he leant down on one knee an bowed his head

"Fine. but I just want you to know that I'm sorry. it was wrong of me to unleash Ty'lak. but if you feel like I deserve this, go ahead, strike me down" he said, awaiting the fire balls to bring his final demise, but it seemed one dark warrior was not happy about Adam's descision...

Adam drew his weapons from the air and used the mirror shield to reflect the bolt

"Explain in three words and then we need to get my brother to exorcise the evil in Tyler, got it?"

"uh, I like you" was all Alice said

"well, I like you to. now can you do me a favour and speed on down to Steel canyon and grab John? he's done this kind of thing before" Adam explained. Alice gave a nod and sped off out of the building

"hey Ty'lak, remmember me telling you Shaventos was a great arch mage? I lied, HE'S A GOD!!!" Adam put away his weapons and flew headlong at Ty'lak, both hands covered in sacred light

a microsecond before the flamming talon hit him, it was pushed out the way by a red lightning bolt... thats right, a red one. the bolt was sent from none other than Alice, aka Arneca

"you know, i really think my future boyfriend needs to be alive if I am going to be with him. you need to calm down!" she fired a bolt of powerfull lightning at Ty'lak before super-speeding to Adam's aid

"long enough?" Alice asked

"yeah, just about. but one thing bothers me... why are you helping me instead of killing me?" Adam asked, getting beck up

"I'll explain later"

Adam lowered his head and prayed. he started to rapidly get his energy back but it didn't seem to be enough, or was it?

Acenra is only 16 years old. on defiant I play him as a character, but on union, he's a teen hero with the mind of a forty year old

Adam could hardly stand, when he finished he fell to his knees. he looked up, and saw the evil inside Tyler

"I hate my life" was all he could mutter before trying to stand up to defend himself...

Before he left he thought that he could help Tyler. he was going to put all his power into healing his friend. he walked over and placed his hands so they shadowed over tyler's body. then with emense concentration, Adam put all of his power into healing Tyler. so much so, his nose started to bleed and he was loosing conciousness, but he didn't care, he was going to succeed!

((ok, I've got a fire blaster version of Adam on the union server, only thing is to arrange where and when to meet))

((okay, my main's on defiant but I've got a lvl 2 version on union, will that be too much of a weight to carry?))

((good idea, I just need to do a few costume adjustments to my main and I'll be set for it. dont be surprised when you see Adam as a fire tanker. it was the closest thing to sacred light I could use

Sophie knelt by Tyler and felt his forehead, for abrief seond, before recoiling her hand in pain. the boy's explosion had left him extremely hot. there was no other way she could wake him up, so she covered her arm in ice and slapped Tyler across the face, to see if that worked...

((Vol, I'll let you control Sophie now. I'm gonna focus on Adam for a bit. And I wont be online as much, I just got onto the test server. the new features rock!))

"you. hurt. my. friend. you. [censored]!" Adam yelled, delivering a punch which twisted Shadow's neck around several times. with a few disturbing cracks, Shadow's neck twisted back to normality

"I've had it! this is where I draw the line! This battle starts in two weeks!"

"you fool, you are not ready!"

"I'm ready enough. you're hurting my firend and destroying cities. this is where it ends!" after Adam said that, Shadow laughed before teleporting away. Adam sighed. he had enough. he wanted it all to end. he knew he was going to win, he knew it.

Adam would of tended to tyler, but it was his stupid test that got him into it. he decided to let Sophie take care of it

"It's ok, I'm sure he'll understand" She stated, before going to Tyler

"he wont, I would like to be expelled for this, if not executed. I'd rather have not come than put the other students in danger. I'm no hero, I'm going to the roof" he walked away, dejected "class dismissed"

"Tyler!" Adam called. the pain he saw in tyler mannaged to break the nulifying

"wait. this is no imagery... they're real! those creeps! they got through the barrier" Adam picked up his beeper

"Dirgente, code red! Circle invaders in training room, get here now! I'll hold them off!" Adam then went into Acenra mode and turned off the nulifier, allow his power to surge through him. his each hand, he made two small disks of light, like shurikens, then threw them at the enemy. one mannaged to destroy the hologram, another knocking over real one

"Tyler! block them out! don't listen to them! let your rage flow, the nulifier is off! let loose!"

"Thats a great idea" said a voice from behind

"you again, I thought-"

"oh no, I'm not hurting him, they are, however, I'm bored again, lets rumble!" Shadow started

Adam smiled. it was astounding. Humans can pick things up alot faster that the Airvertians, yet this was phenomanol. he felt that such a development could allow the students to move to the next level. yet that was only Pious, and he had just recently informed that Jack had to drop out. He still had to see the others pass their tests
