  1. Having replaced my wireless adaptor last night my constant disconnects now seem to be a thing of the past (yay!), and went on to have the most fun so far on CoV. Teamed Twisted with 4 brutes in the early hours and we were one big carnage death machine

Twisted now a whisker shy of 31, so one level to go until Nuke time! Going Blackstar, prepare backup ahoy!
  2. Gratz Juman - Extreme healing FTW!
  3. Gratz on your second 50 D!

I gave it a go with a good bunch last night, but we just couldn't keep pace with the vines at the end. I'll be on around 7 pm so will see if you're around.

Well the Villainous Valentines respec on Tuesday was a success, but only just. The Vines at the end were the biggest nightmare, but we found that although it started at 55 of them, they only respawned back up to 30 when we left them alone for a while (after having got them down to 1 which was quite annoying). By taking a breather then starting again with the lower total we managed to get them clear... worth a shot? (the other idea we had was to go round and damage them all without killing them, as they only regen slowly, then finish them all off as quickly as possible, which may also be worth trying assuming you don't 1 shot kill them like our stalkers did).
  5. Tis true, reminded me why I don't get on with masterminds

However, now having placate Silent is becoming a master (mistress?) of the Art of Stalking, which is so much more fun then I expected it to be
  6. I've just got a Claws/Ninja to 10 and also need to know if I can get by without Stamina (was going to start a new thread, but being evil I will just hijack this one )

Main reason I'm concerned is that it looks like there's some really useful powers in the 16-20 space, and I don't want to waste my time in the fitness pool if I don't have to.

Oh and Rogue, not sure about Energy Melee but the Claws Assasin Strike looks brilliant - definitely one of my favourite animations in game.
  7. Looks like you lot are all to well adjusted with healthy balanced lives to spend tonight playing videogames, but just in case people haven't noticed this post here's a quick *bump* back up the list

(Moderators: I promise I won't do it again, honest )
  8. Afternoon Villains!

With the GF called away on business tonight (of all nights) I suddenly have a clear evening and I'm thinking it's time to tackle the first respec.

We have 3 of us from my regular team up for it:

    Twisted Feather level 29 Corruptor
    DOA level 29 Mastermind
    Blyde level 29 Stalker

So if you have a villain around that range and a clear evening then sign up below for the Lonely Guys Villainous Valentines Respec!

(and girls as well of course )

We'll meet at 8pm at the start of the respec (the demon in nerva), send a tell to Twisted Feather when you get there. I think we should allow for up to 2-3 hours for this (judging from the guides), but you never know we may be quicker
  9. Mega gratz Chango!! Sorry I missed it - you deserved that mate! Precision Rangers FTW!!!oneone11!!!
  10. Ok Corrosions, I've redone the base and everyone ranked henchman and above can now edit it, so go make it look nice! Ideally don't move the main items (I'll only have to put them back), but otherwise have fun!
  11. Question for those of you in the Corrosions - how often do you normally play your villain and what times? Reason I'm asking is that although when you look at last time people logged on it's usually fairly recent, there never seems to be many around when I am (the 9-11pm slot normally). I've only been back on CoV for the last couple of nights though, so I may have just been unlucky...
  12. Well all, it's been a long and fun journey and here's a few shouts out to those who made it so

Radiothereapy (and his many alts), Nurse Sally and Majestik (until recently MIA), the whole of the Precision Rangers, but in particular the sorely missed Scapegoat, the ever helpful Sunbeam, the incredible levelling Doulos, Aeronaut (a legend in his own mind), and Frozen Rogue, who I barely teamed with but is so damn enthusiatic he needs a mention

Also big shout to the rest of the 1AT coalition, the Armoured Core (for keeping me alive), the SNHS (for keeping me alive) the Union Overlords (for... hey you know the drill by now) and the squids and scrappers (who I will be bothering on SG chat ). Oh, and a final thank you to that man who those of you with villains may know as DOA, who many months ago said "I have a sidekick disk for this game I bought, I think you may like it"

So from me, ty all, gj team, and acronyms FTW!!!11!eleventyone!etc!!

    YF Out!

Edit: And for those of you who made it here's that last levelling up, back where it all started in Atlas... clicky
  13. Yep, I'm sure we should be able to get enough going to keep us all busy
  14. OK Friday night AV destroyers, seems like we should be able to get 2 full teams up if everyone can make it, since at my last count there's 16 of us. We may be a bit blaster heavy (surprise that!), but here's who's on the list so far:
<ul type="square"> [*] Yellow Feather (blaster)[*] Golden Golum (tank)[*] Tufty (def) 22:30 onwards[*] Star Jewel (blaster) 21:00 onwards[*] Chango Monster (blaster)[*] Jiaozy (controller?) [*] Mister J (tank)[*] Double (peacebringer)[*] Officer Cuffz (tank)[*] Kronosys46 (blaster)[*] G-force (Dr G/Raylin)[*] Luminos (blaster)[*] Radiotherapy (defender)[*] Stainless Steel (blaster)[*] Xamari (blaster)[*] Deluge (blaster)[/list]If anyone fancies bringing a defender or controller instead of their blaster I'm sure we'll have no shortage of SK slots.

As a mission update I've completed the Maria Jenkins arc as far as Bobcat, so there's a possibility of us getting all the way through to Statesman on that one. It also means I'm a mere 1.5 bars off 50, so that should be a guaranteed ding this evening and an excuse for a brief gathering at Miss Liberty for tea and cakes

As far as organising goes, lets all try to get into the Portal Corporation courtyard on PI for 8:30pm (in front of the big spinning thing) and we'll work out teams based on who turns up. Latecomers send me a tell when online and we'll slot you in where you're needed most

    YF Out!
  15. Nice to see so many people up for this - I'll work out tomorrow whether we need 1 or 2 teams.

In the mean time check the rewards section for the latest patch notes and reflect on how well timed this is

I'm talking myself into a position where I end up on the team with the 'picked-up' tank again aren't I...

    [/ QUOTE ]

Now now, I wasnt THAT bad was I?
That said, If you still dont have a tank come friday, and Im on, im up for it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Lol - not you Cuffz, I seem to remember we had another Tank with a penchant for vodka and discussing his bodily functions (although IIRC wasn't actually that bad at tanking )

    Grats Nefarius

Gratz Neff - think we've only teamed a bit but always nice to see a name I recognise hit 5-0
  18. [ QUOTE ]
Golden Golem has the Statesman Arc open too. Unfortunately he had to kill off Atta and some measly level 25 Sky Raiders to get the Arc to start but now he is ready to go.....

    So yours or mine?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Let's see what the show-up rate is like.. If it's anything like last weeks 3rd respec TF we'll end up in 2 teams racing it, which should be fun , and we'll need both our arcs to do that (although I've already got through the first couple of missions I think there's more then enough left for the evening)

I'm talking myself into a position where I end up on the team with the 'picked-up' tank again aren't I...
  19. This for the 1AT Coalition who don't read the Rangers thread:

Having found I have most of Maria Jenkins missions to do again (a full explanation of why can be found here ), I'd like to get a high level team together to see how quickly we can burn through them, hopefully getting to rescue Statesman at the end of it.

This Friday (3rd Feb) seems like a good time, kicking off around somewhere between 7:30 and 8:30 GMT depending on when people get online. Since it's missions and not a taskforce we don't need to all start together.

Already had interest from Star Jewel, Chango and Deluge, with G-Force bringing some healing along, so tanks, controllers (or more defenders) all welcome (or more blasters of course ), levels 47-50 really (maybe lower if we sort out SK slots properly).

As an added bonus, Yellow should should be hitting 50 during the proceedings, so would be good to have people I've teamed with through the levels around at the time

how do forming coalitions work, as i think doing so with -Deus ex Machina- would be good as its got some of the PRs and so on in it such as myself (Devi), Doulos, Duckdee and others

    [/ QUOTE ]

Simple - SG leaders need to invite a coalition to form in game (need a leader from each group logged in), so look out for Twisted Feather who should shortly be becoming my new main
