Outstanding! Looks good.
I'm glad to hear you found it useful.
Todd -
If you give it a shot. I'd love to hear/see how it goes.
Todd -
Hehehe, thanks .
No, I'm not submitting it anywhere, (wouldn't know how to go about doing that). The layout is just a result of my old graphic design days.
I was chuckling because I took a look at the sample you linked to and yeah, I can definately see some similarities. Hehehe, I guess I never said it was the most original method of coloring. But no, I hadn't seen that before. I guess we just like to work in similar ways.
Thanks,
Todd -
I finally finished up my War Patriot coloring tutorial. It's in PDF format with a 1M file size. This tutorial covers coloring with Photoshop. I think you'd have to have at least a basic understanding of Photoshop before you jumped in, but no fancy stuff is required.
This is my first posted tutorial as well so I'll welcome any feedback you may have.
Have fun. Let me know if it's helpful. War Patriot Coloring Tutorial - Photoshop

Good lord! What a massive undertaking. And it looks awesome.
Well done!

Thanks again all for the feedback. Still working on the tutorial but I did throw together a quick desktop for fun.
Just visit the War Patriot Desktop Pattern link or you can find it in the scraps section of my DA site.
Just call it an early B-day present WP -
Thanks all. Glad you like
For those interested, I'm working using it as a coloring tutorial. I'll post it when it's done.
Todd -
Finally done. Here's a shot of War Patriot buzzing the Paragon City Hall flag at night.
War Patriot - Full Color
Sorry it took longer than expected.
Comments welcome.

I'm working on a piece for War Patriot.
War Patriot - Inked
I think it's coming along pretty well. Colors will help him "pop" from the background flag.
Thoughs are welcome,

Just a little quick fun with my son's character and one of mine. We're a sort of robotic dynamic duo. It's in the style of the old Transformers animated series....cause he's big into Transformers.
I present Vektor Prime and Klank
This was a just for fun piece.

If you find a time portal in the basement you have to give your game friends dibs! ;P

Well, there is that maintenance elevator that never seems to work...hmmmmm.
Oh wait! I know. It's the vending machine! YES, that makes perfect sense. That would totally explain why all the expiration dates are old on all the chips and cinnamon rolls!

Actually, for you old TV buffs it's actually the building J.R. was supposed to work in on the TV show Dallas.
Just a bit of architectural trivia.

I dunno, I'll see if I can't find out who it is -
There's something veeeery familiar about issue 11, and I can't quite put my finger on it. It's like deja vu.
Then today at work it hits me and I snap a couple of shots with my camera. See if you find anything familiar.
My Office Building
And now the REALLY weird part.
And if that's not proof enough...check the date on this post...I won't write it until tomorrow!!! kidding.

Happy B-day Dark L., and on an odd note...it's mine as well
It's a great day for a bday.

Awesome. Very well done, and a darn nice collection.

Obilgatory goofy post just so viking can stick that horn further up is...boat.
Nonsensical post, nonsensical post, nonsensical post.

I get asked on a pretty regular basis by folks in-game if I'm ever going to continue 8 Baller's story (from the Issue 1 comic book). Well, I finally sat down and began writing things down.
I decided to go with a more novel/story style instead of going comic book with it. As much as I think following through in comic style would have been cool, the time involved for all the production would have just taken way too long.
I'm trying to decide how to break up the story into sizeable chunks to submit to the fanzine. This first piece in within the submission guidelines but falls short of where I planned on ending Issue 2.
Anyhow, for those interested. Here's 8 Baller - Issue #2 "Best Laid Plans"....(or at least the first part of it).
8 Baller - Issue #2 "Best Laid Plans"
Comments are of course welcome.

Thank you Lighthouse for clearing things up with the title. 8 Baller is now..."Superpowered".
Thanks again,
Todd -
Thanks all for the great feedback, I'll post the final color version when I can get it done.
Thanks,
Todd -
I apologize again for cluttering the public forums with this but I'm still getting no where with this. Attache, I totally agree with you that people are not going to "take up the cause" or anything like that, such a thought never crossed my mind. However I disagree about the "ungrateful" part. Heck, if anything I'd think the opposite. It's not like I'm saying "I saved the world from a Rikti invasion and all I got was this T-shirt." The fact that I think the in-game title would be cool is exactly WHY I'm annoyed by all this.
Capt I'll continue to contact Lighthouse but I've lost track of the unanswered emails and PM's. I hadn't thought of the 'notify moderator' button option. Thanks.
LJ, I'm sorry to hear you're having the same issues. I hope it's not a trend of some kind.
Todd -
Ahhh, ok. Gotcha (I think)
I agree, it's late.
Thanks again,
Todd
